Autumn rosehip fruits
Photo of a rosehip. Rosehip is especially beautiful in autumn, when many fruits appear on it in addition to bright red flowers. Rosehip adorns our city, it grows both in the forest and in vegetable gardens and flower beds in the city center. Rosehip fruits are very useful because they contain a large amount of vitamin C. Tea is brewed from it, jam and jam are also brewed, used in cosmetology. Here is such a valuable plant.

Thank you for entering the competition.
I don't want to argue with you, but this plant is definitely not a rosehip. It is thorny as well as roses and fruits (berries) are elongated.
I'd rather not try these fruits in the kitchen. They are very bitter and also contain ingredients that could harm the human body.
However, the berries are beautiful. Additionally, try to find out which plant it is.

Rose hip can be of different species, and 'elongated form' and specific orange or red color arent a must.

Rose hips that I captured today for the chalenge are exactly like in this post . I saw the 'elongated' ones but not in this location where I live, more to the south. Both are rosehips, just different species.

But I agree with you - the photos were taken not recently, probably in the summer. I cant say I see a person put some efforts to execute the challenge task - go out, find something, and describe it...

Thanks for the link. I really don't know this variety. But it reminded me of a bush where the same "berries" grow and after ripening they resemble small apples. But they are definitely not edible.
