But at this time there are several pairs with dozens of pairs, who are doing the same thing but these pairs are not in the same point, but scattered several points not far from the nest location.
Zoologists or especially entomologists say, when a new butterfly emerges from the cocoon, it will spontaneously look for a mate or mate, when the male finds a mate in the same area, then each butterfly just waits for the liquid attached to the wings to dry The liquid carried from the birth process (out of the cocoon), doesn't take long to wait for it to dry, because the wind itself is able to make the smooth liquid dry in a short time. This phenomenon was carried out at the same time not long after the drying of the wings, then immediately carried out the marriage with the female of his choice.
This means that the butterfly will always mate culturally or it will be too early to do so. Why?
This background is carried out based on their short lifespan in general they live within a week, although sometimes there are butterfly species that have a lifespan of more than a week, this happens because of the influence of the type of each butterfly, but in general they can only survive for 1 week.
It's as if they are haunted by the influence of a character who must create the next generation without having to do anything else or not being able to do a leisurely job like other animals.
So that it looks like his life is very rushed in a very short time. This need is based on the needs of his body that must be done, if he does not do that, his life will also be short as a result of the substances contained in his body, this must be improved immediately by performing a marriage ritual. Then how does the male know his mate?
For male butterflies, it is very easy to do this, namely by identifying the opposite sex who comes from the same family by identifying the colors seen on their wings, although from the human eye the patterns look the same, but if you look closely, you can see the patterns or the color contained in the wings has a difference even if only slightly.
Do you know about the term pheromone that is often attached to butterflies? Pheromone itself is one of the scents that come from butterflies, in confining their partner, it can simply be said that a pair of partners has the same pheromone scent, so with this scent female butterflies will not want to be cheated on by other males, who have different pheromone scents. Even though they both come from the same parent, because every butterfly is different about it, except the mate.
Thus answering the question why female butterflies always reject males who are not their original partners, it turns out that female butterflies can recognize their partners based on the smell in their bodies called pheromones. While the male will recognize his mate by feeling the color or pattern of his partner, if the male does not find his mate when he just comes out of the cocoon, by seeing the same pattern or smell, then he will move to another location even though far away, will find a partner, according to the explanation above.

in general, when a patrol butterfly works hard, it will always look for a mate even in different circumstances, or at some point, nests that are far away, but they will still be found, even though they have to fly far away, they are able to detect the presence of their mate in another location.
