The ridge of the Western Tatras runs along the Polish-Slovak border and is one of the most beautiful tourist trails in Poland. Many trails pass through the ridge, connecting the highest peaks of the Tatra Mountains, such as Kasprowy Wierch, Świnica, Kozi Wierch and Giewont, and min. Kamienista or Smreczyński Wierch, which are currently off the beaten track. However, this route is demanding and requires good physical condition and climbing skills. Granią Tatr Zachodnich biegnie granica polsko-słowacka i jest jednym z najpiękniejszych szlaków turystycznych w Polsce. Przez grań przechodzi wiele szlaków, łączących najwyższe szczyty Tatr, takie jak Kasprowy Wierch, Świnicę, Kozi Wierch i Giewont oraz min. Kamienistą, czy Smreczyński Wierch będące obecnie poza szlakami. Trasa ta jest jednak wymagająca, a jej pokonanie wymaga dobrej kondycji i umiejętności wspinaczkowych.
