Photos I took one summer morning in the Karkonosze Mountains. You can admire the panorama from the Wielki Staw with the rising sun and the "Słonecznik" rock. As you can easily guess, the name of this rock comes from its characteristic sunflower-like appearance. On the other hand, there is a local legend associated with the rock. Apparently one of the rocks resembles a human figure. According to legend, it is a petrified devil! Supposedly, the Black Devil once had a quarrel with the Mountain Spirit and decided to throw a large boulder into the Great Pond to spite him, so as to cause a great flood and flood the town in the valley.
The sunflower is approximately 10 meters high and is located at 1,423 meters above sea level.

Zdjęcia jakie wykonałem podczas pewnego letniego poranka w Karkonoszach. Możecie podziwiać panoramę z nad Wielkiego Stawu przy wschodzącym słońcu oraz skałkę "Słonecznik". Jak łatwo się domyślić, nazwa tej skały wzięła się od charakterystycznego przypominającego słonecznika. Z drugiej strony ze skałą wiąże się lokalna legenda. Podobno jedna ze skał przypomina postać ludzką. Według legendy to skamieniały diabeł! Podobno niegdyś Czarny Diabeł pokłócił się z Duchem Gór i postanowił na złość jemu zrzucić wielki głaz do Wielkiego Stawu, tak aby spowodować wielką powódź i zalanie miejscowości w dolinie.
Słonecznik ma ok. 10 metrów i znajduje się na 1423 m.n.p.m.
Prowadzą tam szlaki czerwony, zielony i żółty
