Due to their tiny size and the fact they are almost always moving, I find a great sense of satisfaction in getting ant photos like this. Being up close and following this little ant took many shots to get just a handful of them sharp with a high level of detail. This little critter might not know he was a star that day, but I am thankful he was crawling out in the open in a spot where I could actually get a nice, unobscured view.
