Me gusta la niebla. Ese manto blanco que cubre el horizonte y que empapaña de agua y bruma todo lo que le rodea. En la cara norte de la montañas donde se ubica el lugar donde vivo se forman grandes masas de niebla que bajan la ladera y que parece engulleran todo lo que encuentran a su paso.
I like the fog. That white blanket that covers the horizon and soaks everything around it with water and mist. On the north side of the mountains where the place where I live is located, large masses of fog are formed that descend the slope and seem to engulf everything in their path.
El halo blanco difumina el paisaje, resaltando los colores de aquellas cosas que aún pueden verse de cerca. Empapa a los árboles y a las rocas que se mezclan y suaviza los contornos con un halo mágico en el que el límite de los elementos que componen el paisaje se difumina.
The white halo blurs the landscape, highlighting the colors of those things that can still be seen up close. It soaks the trees and rocks that blend in and softens the contours with a magical halo in which the boundary of the elements that make up the landscape is blurred.
La montaña bebe, el horizonte se oculta y la nube blanca ocupa un espacio que antes parecía vacío. Las figuras cambian al igual que lo hacen las perpesctiva de las cosas. El viento volverá a descubrir el paisaje en un ciclo cambiante, la niebla volverá a ocultar lo que parece estático pero cuando desaparezca volveremos a descubrir lo que allí estaba, aún más nítido y vivo que nunca.
The mountain drinks, the horizon is hidden and the white cloud occupies a space that once seemed empty. The figures change as do the perpesctives of things. The wind will rediscover the landscape in a changing cycle, the fog will again hide what seems static but when it disappears we will rediscover what was there, even sharper and more alive than ever.
