Witam wszystkich
Dzisiaj będzie kolejny kwiatowy wpis. Jak zapewne wiecie moją wielką miłością są rośliny owadożerne.
W swojej małej kolekcji mam już muchołówkę, kapturnicę i dzbanecznika.
Kilka tygodni temu ta roślinna rodzinka się powiększyła. Dołączyła do nich rosiczka, a dokładniej Rosiczka Alicji czyli Drosera aliciae. 😍😍❤️
Liście tej rośliny owadożernej tworzą rozetę o średnicy około 5-6 cm natomiast pojedyncze liście dorastają do 3 cm długości. Na listkach znajdują się włoski które wydzielają lepką ciecz i wyglądają jak rosa. U rośliny, która podlewania jest prawidłowo te włoski powinny zabarwić się na kolor czerwony co przyciągnie owady. Zobaczymy po jakimś czasie jak będzie w przypadku mojego malucha.
Rosiczka Alicji wymaga gleb torfowych, mało żyznych. Co do miejsca, najlepiej aby stała w nasłonecznionym miejscu. Roślinkę najlepiej podlewać wodą destylowaną lub deszczówką.
Podlewanie należy wykonywać przez podsiąkanie, czyli nalewamy wody do podstawki, oraz pamiętamy, by podłoże było stale wilgotne. Tym razem skusiłam się i kupiłam gotową już doniczkę. W pozostałych przypadkach doniczki robiłam sama.
Doniczka którą kupiłam ma ceramiczny spód który będzie spełniać role zbiorniczka na wodę. Wodę do górnej części doniczki doprowadzać będzie sznurek.
Niestety po ulokowaniu rosiczki w tej pięknej doniczce okazało się, że sznurek słabo pobiera wodę. Zamieniłam na zwykłą bawełnianą szmatkę. Od razu lepiej. Woda dotarła błyskawicznie do roślinki.
To by było na tyle. Zobaczymy jak sprawdzi się doniczka i jak poradzę sobie z nową roślinką. 🙂🙂

Today will be another floral entry. As you may know my great love is insectivorous plants.
In my small collection, I already have a flytrap, a hooded bulb and a pitcher plant.
A few weeks ago, this plant family expanded. They were joined by a sundew, or more precisely, Alice's Dew or Drosera aliciae. 😍😍❤️
The leaves of this insectivorous plant form a rosette with a diameter of about 5-6 cm, while individual leaves grow up to 3 cm in length. On the leaves there are hairs that secrete a viscous liquid and look like dew. In a plant that is watered properly these hairs should turn red which will attract insects. We will see after some time how it will be in the case of my baby.
Alice's sundew requires peaty soils, not very fertile. As for the place, it is best for it to stand in a sunny spot. The plant is best watered with distilled water or rainwater.
Watering should be done by trickling, that is, pouring water into the saucer, and remember to keep the substrate constantly moist. This time I was tempted and bought an already finished pot. In other cases, I made the pots myself.
The pot I bought has a ceramic bottom which will act as a water reservoir. Water will be supplied to the top of the pot by a string.
Unfortunately, after placing the sundew in this beautiful pot, it turned out that the string absorbs water poorly. I replaced it with an ordinary cotton cloth. It was immediately better. The water reached the plant in no time.
That would be enough. We'll see how the pot works out and how I handle the new plant 🙂🙂🙂
