A Beautiful Sublime Sunday - Bright Fall Colors Interesting Skies

in Amazing Nature4 years ago (edited)

This time of year I just can't get enough of the beautiful Fall colors! I captured some to share with you for it won't be long when the winds come and blows them away. Up in the sky there was some interesting displays too.

Come have a look...

I love the contrast the evergreens give to the brightly colored deciduous trees!

Up on the hill top there were some interesting clouds forming behind the fall colored trees.

As the day was coming to an end those interesting clouds put on quite a display with the sunset!

Further up the road when the sun had almost set there was one more display of color in that interesting cloud formation behind the silhouette of the trees.

The evening sky bought an interesting display of the moon with slight clouding and still some color showing on the tree leaves.

Something else that caught my attention was the bright morning star that I believe is Venus. I got a close up of it and just like the other close up I got of a bright star there is a darker circle in the middle, I wonder what that is?

Is there any star gazers out there that could help me with that?

Starting to see the change of colors.
Reminds me of a long time ago trip to New England during the fall.

Oh! New England in Fall would be fabulous with all the reds of the maples!
I've got another post coming where I found a new forest full of young mountain ash trees that turn a brilliant orange!

I love to go to a place to see the autumn colors again.

Great entry, I love sunsets and autumn colors.

Glad you enjoyed them!

That line of clouds did make the sunset interesting. Lovely colors for your walk. Down here with the drought, most of the colors are muted. There's the occasional showoff though...

Sorry to hear about your drought - was it a bad one? Was your farm effected much?

I think the drought is still ongoing. We did get rain last night, but I doubt it was enough to break the drought.

Yes, the farm was affected by the lack of rain, more pest problems due to stress from not enough water. I did water the little trees frequently, but not much of anything else very much. Lots more powdery mildew due to the stress too.

Farming is a tough one - so dependent on the weather! I'm surprised to hear there was more powdery mildew for I that that was more prevalent in moist conditions.
What kind of trees did you plant?

My experience with the mildew is there is more in drought than wet. Has happened so twice in the last 5 years.

Cherries, peach, elderberries, Juneberry, serviceberry.

Oh, autumn has started a few days ago .. There will be some amazing nature pictures on our way through Hive now .. It is really beautiful when there are so many different colors appearing all together in one place ^^ .. a beautiful season, hehe

Yes! I've got a few more posts coming but they are starting to disappear with the winds so I'll have to get the show of colors from others after that!

You are on the other side of the Earth, and your forest is very similar to my forest.

Where are you from?

Russia. Kirov city.

Yes, your Russian taiga forests have the same species as our Boreal forests in Canada. We're on similar latitudes too. It's interesting to do comparisons on the two countries for although there are many differences there are many similarities too!

I completely agree with you.
The Internet has made the Earth small. We all began to live closer to each other. :)
