SNAILS ATTACK!!!

in Amazing Nature3 years ago (edited)

It's not a secret, Mauritius is quite full of greenery (despite the heavy modernisation recently) and at nearly everyone's house, you'll find some kinds of trees, plants or flowers.

It's like a culture here, which is simply great!

💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

At my place, it is mainly mom who plants here and there, ranging from flower plants, herbs, small veggies.

We don't have large space for trees though!

The snails attack!!!

And when we you have cute little plants around...looks like the snails invite themselves to the party!Lol!

They are the first to enjoy and feast on the beautiful plants!

Yesterday it was raining for couple of hours...and once it rains...you’ll see them all around!

I was wondering how this one managed to get over there on such a height!

🤔🤔🤔

Time to investigate!

Snail paparazzi !

I spent like two hours...studying their moves!

I crawled down with my mobile phone ready to shoot and followed their movements literally!

😂😂😂

It is so amazing watching them move...i kinda enjoyed looking at them!

The Grail!!!

After 15 minutes of climbing and crawling...it must be like 'getting hands' on gold for this lovely snail!

Ps. I was so impressed by its effort that I let him feast in tranquility!

During my 'snail investigation', I also discovered them changing their shell...

But this is another subject that need more time to study!

Would be great if someone knows little bit on the 'snail shells' could share their knowledge on the comments section below!

They were everywhere...

Looking around...they were just everywhere...

Here's another type feeding on the aloe vera plants, he's a super healthy snail for sure!

In the end, i just took out the snails that were on the herbs/veggies that we usually use in our cooking at home.

If I let them there...they would finish them all!

Here's my mint and thyme plants free from snails!

And those on the flowers plants...

Gave them a chance and left them as if I didn't see them!

Ps. Mom will be shock next day for sure!!!

But as long as my herbs and veggies are safe...I'm happy!

So here's my first contribution to the amazing nature community!

Looking forward to share more on my crazy investigations soon!

Stay tuned!
