After 7 days of rain

7 days in a row of rain on the Coast.

Nearly 1000 schools were shut today in Queensland.

A record flooding started to affect northern NSW, the cities of Lismore and mullumbinby are under water. Roads are closed and residents were told is too late to leave, just search for a higher area.

Here in Southport we got a little but of sun in the afternoon, but the rain is back.

The rainwater pipes are not coping with it and the water pressure are so intense that is lifting that heavy lid

The humidity was so high, probably 100% today that we could see the steam coming up from the ground at 11am - 27 degrees Celsius

Humidity goes sky high when the sun comes out, very uncomfortable, hope the weather settles soon.

It's just horrible. Thanks for your concern 😊

We suffer humidity throughout summer months, feels like a hot wet blanket thrown over you!

Stay safe and take care. Got to love that Queensland humidity !LOL

My daughter thinks I don't give her enough privacy.
At least that's what she wrote in her diary.
