Hello friends, nature lovers,
From school we are taught that flowers and wildlife are renewable natural resources and that it is good to know this, because it gives us hope. But the way things are going I don't know where we are going to end up, every day there are more people who destroy than those who sow and make new life sprout.
A while ago I saw the post of my friend @razeiv and he said this "my garden, our main source of vegetables, since my parents think that we should grow our vegetables on our own as much as we can and not depend completely on the market for our basic needs. I want to congratulate him because he has a good sustainable foundation for his future and that of future generations.
That is my opinion and here in Venezuela the schools want to instill in us the sowing with the "School Gardens", in many places it has been successful and in others they are still trying.
Not only food is necessary for life, but also the flora must be known how to take advantage of it and take care of it, we depend on it to have an air free of pollution, it absorbs all the carbon monoxide and allows us to breathe pure air.
In the mountains it is important to preserve the trees as they are our vegetable lungs. We also have to plant many trees along the riverbanks so that the springs are maintained and there is plenty of water to reach our homes.
Each of these photos was taken by my father at his sister's house. My father is a great lover of nature and from him I have learned a lot about the countryside, planting and conservation of the species. My parents always try to teach us that when we go to a place we should leave it the same or better than the way we found it; I think that all those thoughts were inherited from my grandmother, who lives it in the lot sowing, harvesting and taking care of her plants and her little animals.
I wanted to talk to you this time in a more direct way, not about the photo that adorns the post, but about the message that I want to transmit in each one of them, to take care and preserve the planet is everyone's task, there is no other planet for us to live on, this is the only one and it is a mandatory task for us to take care of it as we take care of our most precious treasures.

Being able to grow your own food and maintain a garden is actually a quite difficult task if you are not used to it. I am glad that people out there try to keep those skills alive. One can learns so much from it about life, sustainability and nature respect, which is amazing .. Thanks for showing this to us and for reminding us on this topic ^^
