This is my entry to the Amazing Nature contest Free Topic-#1/2/22, responding to the call from our dear friend @bucipuci, share with you a compendium of some of the plants in my close environment.
Esta es mi entrada a Amazing Nature Tópico Libre-#1/2/22, respondiendo a la convocatoria de nuestro amigo @bucipuci, compartiendo un compendio de algunas plantas que se encuentran en mi entorno cercano.
In this sense, one of the lessons of the pandemic is that it taught us to appreciate and enjoy more what is within our reach. An example of this are the options of contact with nature and open spaces.
En este sentido, una de las lecciones de la pandemia es que nos enseñó a apreciar y disfrutar más lo que está a nuestro alcance. Ejemplo de esto son las opciones del contacto con la naturaleza y los espacios abiertos.
En mi caso, aprovecho todas las oportunidades, una de ellas es el jardín de mi hogar, y en los recorridos que realizo.
Observing and caring for plants is fun, relaxing and healing, the peace and tranquillity felt in doing so is wonderful, and it is a mutually beneficial, generous and rewarding relationship.
Observar y cuidar las plantas, es divertido, relajante y sanador, la paz y tranquilidad que se siente al hacerlo es maravillosa, y es una relación de beneficio mutuo, generosa y gratificante.
The diversity of characteristics that plants offer in their shapes, colours, sizes, textures, uses is infinite, and they offer many lessons in the way that different species coexist in harmony in the same spaces
La diversidad de características que ofrecen las plantas en sus formas, colores, tamaños, texturas, usos es infinita, y ofrecen muchos aprendizajes de la forma que coexisten, en armonías diversas especies en los mismos espacios.
An example is shown below, with several plants that are characterised by their cheerful colours and heart-shaped leaves that give them great beauty and distinction in the garden
Un ejemplo se los muestro a continuación, con varias plantas que se caracterizan por su alegre colorido y forma acorazonada de sus hojas que le otorgan gran belleza y distinción en el jardín.
The first of these is the pink Anthurium popularly known in Venezuela as Cala, which is very popular and easy to grow. Recently, I discovered a different one to the ones I had seen before, it was out of the ordinary, very striking for being formed by two of different sizes joined to the same peduncle, like Siamese twins, truly surprising!
La primera de ellas es el Anthurium rosado, popularmente en Venezuela se le conoce también como Cala, es muy popular y se cultiva con facilidad. Recientemente, descubrí una diferente a las que hacia visto con anterioridad, era fuera de lo común, muy llamativa por estar formada por dos de diferentes tamaños unidas al mismo pedúnculo, como siamesas, en verdad sorprendente¡
This type of occurrence is very rare in nature, and I wanted to share it with you.
Este tipo de sucesos son muy poco frecuentes en la naturaleza, y lo quise compartir con ustedes.

¿Qué les parece, les gusto?, entonces vamos a continuar, hay más prepárense para más plantas que muestran la extensa paleta de colores y diseños de un artista insuperable, la madre naturaleza.
Inicio con la Coleus Lamiaceae hermosa planta que destaca por sus hojas con margen aserrado, color morado con un borde verde contrastante que resalta su forma y la hace centro de atención. La combinación de colores y la textura de sus hojas son cautivantes.
Next are two plants, theAlocasia Amazónica also known as elephant's ear, I love its aristocratic look with its upright, glossy, deep green leaves with lighter coloured veins that look like ribbons matching the edge of the leaves. Next to it, the Caladium bicolor showing its beautiful wing-like leaves stretched to the sky with its festive green veins in unique artistic designs.
Le siguen dos plantas la Alocasia Amazónicaconocida también como oreja de elefante, me encanta su aspecto aristocrático por sus hojas erguidas, brillantes y de color verde intenso con las nervaduras de color más claro que se aprecian como cintas que combinan con el borde las hojas. A su lado, la Caladium bicolor mostrando sus preciosas hojas como alas extendidas al cielo con sus festivas venas verdes en diseños artísticos únicos.
Sencilla y discreta en su pequeña maceta de barro, la Epipremnun Pinnatum nos regala su sutil matizado verde-blanco, transmitiendo serenidad con sus tenues colores.
Each of these plants is part of the diversity, each one beautiful, unique and wonderful, they cheer us up, cheer us up and contribute to our wellbeing with their purifying presence.
Cada una de estas plantas forma parte de la diversidad, cada una bella, única y maravillosa, nos alegran, animan y contribuyen a nuestro bienestar con su presencia purificadora.
