Today I went to meet a childhood friend. She invited me to her family's house and I took the opportunity to walk to the meeting place.
Hoy fui a reunirme con una amiga de la infancia. Me invito a casa de su familia y aproveche para irme caminando al lugar de encuentro.
As I approached the street where her parents' home is located, two striking, long-lived, leaning trees were waiting for me, showing their spectacular and serene presence. How much time has passed, and they are still there!
Cuando me acercaba a la calle donde está ubicado el hogar de sus padres, me esperaban dos llamativos y longevos árboles inclinados, mostrando su espectacular y serena presencia. Cuanto tiempo ha pasado, y todavía están ahí!
I was impressed by the gallantry of its posture, with its leafy branches and leaves despite having withstood adverse conditions for its development and survival.
Me asombró la gallardía de su postura, con sus frondosas ramas y hojas a pesar de haber resistido condiciones adversas para su desarrollo y sobrevivencia.
They have had to struggle for many years to have more space to grow. Their roots bravely manifest this by sprouting from the pavements, a way of enlarging the reduced space allotted to them.
Han tenido que luchar por muchos años para tener más espacio para crecer. Sus raíces lo manifiestan valientemente brotando de las aceras, una forma de ampliar el reducido espacio que les fue asignado.
I look at its tall strong trunk, crowned with its green crown in contrast to the intense blue of the sky, and enjoy once again the magnificence and strength of nature, it is so wonderful that these trees have managed to live for more than four decades, providing shade to children with their games and people passing by.
Miro su tronco alto fuerte, coronado con su verde copa en contraste con el azul intenso del cielo, y disfruto una vez más la magnificencia y fortaleza de la naturaleza, es tan maravillosa que estos árboles han logrado vivir por más de cuatro décadas, brindado su sombra a los niños con sus juegos y personas transeúntes.
Its trunk also shows the tracks left by those who come in search of shelter.
También su tronco muestra las huellas dejadas por las aves que acuden en busca de abrigo.
The holes you can see in the photos are made by them.
Los agujeros que observas en estas fotos son hechos por ellas.
Can you see the one it finds at the moment? .... It is small, and almost blends in with the trunk, a beauty, and listening to it sing makes it even more beautiful!
¿Puedes ver la que encuentra en este momento?…. Es pequeña, y casi se mimetiza con el tronco, una belleza, y escucharla cantar la engalana aún más!
These trees have reminded me of fun times from my childhood, it was wonderful to meet them again today, they represent a beautiful example of resilience, the amazing and wonderful nature, it offers us many reasons for inspiration and joy.
Estos árboles me han recordado momentos muy divertidos de mi infancia, reencontrarme con ellos hoy fue maravilloso, representan un hermoso ejemplo de resiliencia, la sorprendente y maravillosa naturaleza, nos ofrece muchos motivo de inspiración y alegría.
The beauty of nature can be enjoyed everywhere.
La belleza de la naturaleza la podemos disfrutar en todas partes.
