On the outskirts of the city there is a sports facility in the form of a running stadium, next to it there is a forest alley. In this forest alley live tame birds and squirrels with chipmunks. Athletes and people just walking love to feed them.
I met this furry friend there, it was the end of April, the time when chips wake up from a long winter hibernation.
By the way, the photo shows the entrance to his home; it is located in the tree itself and goes down underground.
As you can see, he does not look hungry; moreover, his cheeks are swollen from treats. He had just woken up, and right there on the stump or in the bird feeders he was full of all kinds of food.
