I’m no plant guy by any means. I’ve grown garden of spices and some veggies. But indoor plants are not my thing. What you said is logical so I’d try and plant that broken stem.

Yeah. I think it will grow into a new plant, and if not then oh well. I am learning more and more every day about these plants, usually when something happens like this. It nudges me to look stuff up and read about it.
