Three years ago I caught this Hawk perched on the roof of the home next to where we were staying, at the time I thought it may have been a Harrier Hawk.

Right I looked, but my books are limited to the African continent.
Depending on where you are, I would say that his is a type of Goshawk.
It has all of the features of a Chanting Goshawk and it might be a juvenile!
Of course ours are different colors, but all of the features like tail, legs, feet and head are the same.
