Hello hivers I hope you all are fine. As you know that I travelled to spiti last week I got chance to go to different monasteries and Dhankar is one of them. It is also situated on the rocky area. It is also situated on the top.
Elevation of this Monastery is 3800 meters. It is also 1000 years old and it was a fort monastery as well as prison for some prisoners. It is a motorable village and you can go by car and bike there.This place is worth to visit.
This area is like desert with mountains because there are no trees. But in some part you will see greenery. There is also a fresh water lake on the top which is almost 2.5kms from the Dhankar.
You can go for camping as well but you need equipments, tents and all necessary things which you need for camping because these areas are cold and also the oxygen level is low.
When you go to the top of the fort you will see very beautiful sunset and sunrise. This place is best for lonely time just take some thing to drink with you like tea or coffee and talk to yourself while watching the sunset.
These places gives me vibe from out of the world. Because the power we have inside we dont know. Every human is super there are no super humans. We need to recognise ourself that why we take birth on this planet and what are our duties but Humans are distracting from their path and creating chaos in the world. Peace is all we need in our life and we should spread it all over the world.
