I found a couple of baby lizards in a tub in my back yard yesterday. Obviously they were able to jump in but couldn't get out for some reason.
Fortunately there was a good bit of water for them and dry ground for safety and enough cover to shield them from potential predators.
They were content to sit on my hand until I let them loose in some thick grass to go on with their lives.
Amazing little creatures.
