We fed rescued deer in nature reserve

in Amazing Nature2 years ago

It was so exciting! Deer are one of my favorite wildlife and the feeling of meeting them up close was great.

My friend and I went to a zoo near Burgas, which also has the status of a nature reserve. The animals there live in large areas in a natural environment, eat well and are not disturbed by crowds of people.

The deer I show you are sheltered there because they cannot return to nature. Many were rescued from being killed by poachers, had serious health problems or were simply taken in by pets.

They are not afraid of people and allow them to be fed by hand and even to be touched gently. They like to eat carrots and apples, but their diet also includes a variety of foods.

The nature reserve offers enough space for everyone to feel as close as possible to their home.

This deer and I became friends, although he stabbed me several times with his horns. Just friendly.

We also met this baby emu. Can you imagine that these bird would become taller than me? In the photo, however, he looks like a little duck.

Beautiful photos, we invite you to write more scientific content is our specialty in AN there is a lot of information about deer on the internet!

Deers aren't wild? Woah! That's great then, I never knew they could be friendly because whenever I watch Natgeo wild I see them always in thick forests amongst their predators where they have to always run for their lives. Never knew they could be touched and fed. That's why hive is super cool. One gets to know what he or she never knew before. Weldone 🥰 and great photos.

When taken from young, they can be tamed and domesticated :) They are still cautious, but allow some contact.

Oh! I totally get it now. Thanks for the feedback
