Ramble or Ramble this the meaning...

A positive one for you today folks. Many will remember from previous posts I love a good stroll in the country and also I'm partial to a wild camp.

It's kinda handy calling these 'Vibes Rambles' as it has a double meaning and today it is the walking version! I used to post my walks and share the beauty of the British countryside but I stopped as it was a lot of effort taking all the photos and uploading them onto the computer. Also, I'm out there to enjoy nature and don't think you can when you are focusing on photos. That being said is all about keeping things within reason and balance. Who doesn't like a bit of photography hey! Long story short my photography days are back, it's nice to store these moments forever on the old blockchain.

Mother Gaia...

So healing with Mother Gaia my tribe is how we do it. The healing energy of Mother Gaia is widely documented. Research shows that when out in nature specifically in a woodland area reduces cortisol (the stress hormone) and makes you feel happier, less anxious and more optimistic about your future powerful stuff folks and it's free. Get this apparently the effects can last up to two weeks. Hey, get in nature folks and lap up that free healing energy. Also bird song actually reduces stress. This is why I love nature folks and want to share it with my tribe as well as my clients in my OT work!

Let's get a strolling then folks...

First I wondered through my hometown heading for a new path I'd never been along before. I got some funny looks of people walking through town all kitted up! They can talk dressing up in their silly hats and having a mad hatters tea party for someone who had more wealth in the bling around her neck than their family will ever see in their lifetime. Always the effects of the countryside will hit soon the stressors will disappear πŸ˜‚

Ahhh there she is folks not quite a mountain (a few feet off ) but still glorious and steeped in history (but that's a whole other post). I can feel the serotonin coming now this is beautiful. I love it when I find new paths.

Then I stumble upon a trickling stream another new one for today. Why had I never ventured along here? We stop and embrace the sounds and energy for a few minutes. tricking water actually improves the mood. The serotonin is pumping through my veins now dam it's good to be alive (who needs pills πŸ˜‚)

After meandering through a few more fields lapping up the energies a moment of synchronicity occurs. This week at work I was talking to a colleague about wild camping and hiking and the animals you see. I mentioned I'd never seen a fox but maybe I would this weekend?

I keep on strolling taking in the smells, feeling the warmish sun feeding my skin with vitamin D and generally forgetting the stresses and just being with the world and universal energy. After a nice reflective stroll, it's time to set up camp.

Now, this is a special camp tonight as it's the anniversary of Willow's passing she would have been six today. The spot I pick is where we spread her ashes. Given the nature of the occasion, I persisted and camped here even though the young trees were not ideal for a hammock due to their low developing branches. But they provided an ok spot and camp was set up, fire lit and food eaten. The night was spent with the fire my thoughts and Willow's memory and of course the evening chorus by the birds (wish I could share the video here it was blooming marvellous).

In the morning the chorus returns as I awaken. I brew up a cupper and salute the day and woods for hosting me.

Then some porridge and a barefoot stroll through the woods enjoying the morning views. I pack up camp and #leavenotrace an essential element of wild camping πŸ’―πŸ‘ŒπŸ½ ready to wander home to my cat.

Along the way I again embrace the sounds and stunning views, I am lucky to live in a very picturesque part of England (just a shame about the weather). I feel fully revitalised now and recharged. For the return leg I am taking a different route (another new one in parts. I'm loving this #Komoot App). There's nature and colour and of course tree porn πŸ˜‚.

This poor fella came down in the recent storms! Must be a few hundred years old don't you think? There are too many rings to count.

IMG_20220605_074747.jpg

To finish it off a nice derelict building is slowly being reclaimed by nature.

Then is back into town feeling stress-free and ready for the week ahead. I encourage you to get out in nature if you are feeling stressed or just a bit low; it's great πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’š

Lovely view

Yes I live in a beautiful area just rains all the time haha

Wow. Love your camping journey.
Nature is so beautiful.

We are also having a very crappy weather here in Canada. It just doesn't want to warm up at all.

Weather is rubbish here in north England only 15 degrees on average should be over 20. Windy and rainy too suppose to be summer β˜€οΈ
