Hoje quero partilhar aqui um pequeno conjunto de fotografias que tirei, no passado mês de Dezembro. Foi uma tentativa de fazer uma captura em estilo macro, mas não usando o equipamento apropriado (tirei mesmo as fotografias com o meu telemóvel, sem uso de tripé). Peço desde já que me desculpem pela qualidade inferior a que eu gostaria de aqui apresentar.
Num cenário de geada matinal, num dos pontos mais altos de Portugal, e incluído no Parque Natural da Serra da Estrela, quando nos depararmos com um fino manto branco que cobre os pontos mais altos da vegetação rasteira, bem como as eminências rochosas, mas que não e propriamente neve que se trata... conseguimos aperceber da beleza que a Natureza nos apresenta.... Os cristais de gelo que se formaram, de forma que aparentemente, e inicialmente, nos parecia algo desorganizado, tem tudo menos a desorganização... Como pequenos espinhos, delicados, finos, como se pequenas projecções desenhadas por um "ser maior", despõe-se mesmo debaixo do nosso olhar, e cobrem todas as superfícies.
Um verdadeiro espetáculo, em ponto pequeno, dentro de um bem maior e à vista de todos.
Para quem, como eu, habita numa região suburbana, e numa altitude perto de zero, ver este espetáculo é um regalo para a alma.

Today I want to share with you a small set of photos I took last December. It was an attempt to take a macro-style shot, but not using the appropriate equipment (I actually took the photos with my cell phone, without using a tripod). I apologize in advance for the lower quality than I'd like to present here.
In a scenario of morning frost, at one of the highest points in Portugal, and included in the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, when we come across a thin white mantle that covers the highest points of the undergrowth, as well as the rocky eminences, but it's not exactly snow that we're talking about... we realize the beauty that Nature presents to us.... The ice crystals that have formed, in a way that apparently, and initially, seemed somewhat disorganized, are anything but disorganized... Like little thorns, delicate, thin, as if they were little projections drawn by a “greater being”, they appear right under our gaze and cover every surface.
A true spectacle, in a small way, within a greater good and in plain sight.
For someone who, like me, lives in a suburban area and at an altitude close to zero, seeing this show is a treat for the soul.

I confess that I've tried very hard to get some "acceptable" photos... I cannot imagine the one that I could get with a proper camera.. even a bridge one...
