Muy buen domingo hivers, no saben todas las peripecias que pasé hasta terminar a Susan, la sirena de tela. ya saben que primero moldeo la muñeca y sus brazos aparte en la tela. Siguiendo con los materiales, esta vez usé tela satinada, licra, tijera, aguja, alfileres, silicon caliente, estambre para los cabellos, hilo y algodón de relleno.

Happy Sunday hivers, you don't know all the ups and downs I went through to finish Susan, the fabric mermaid. You know that first I mold the doll and her arms apart in the fabric. Continuing with the materials, this time I used satin fabric, lycra, scissors, needle, pins, hot silicon, yarn for the hair, thread and cotton stuffing.

Una vez cosida las piezas, se rellenan, luego se pegan con costura y unos botones los brazos al cuerpo de la muñeca. Después es el turno de pintar el rostro con pintura de tela y hacer los cabellos, para este último ya lo he explicado anteriormente, sin embargo acá incluí una técnica para rizar las hebras. Se toma un mechón y con ayuda de un lápiz se enrolla para luego pasarle calor con una plancha de cabello, para darle un toque más lindo le hice lazo el cual pegue con costura y silicon.

Once the pieces are sewn, they are stuffed, then the arms are glued to the doll's body with sewing and buttons. Then it is the turn to paint the face with fabric paint and make the hair, for the latter I have already explained previously, however here I included a technique to curl the strands. You take a strand of hair and with the help of a pencil you roll it up and then heat it with a hair iron, to give it a nicer touch I made a bow which I glued with sewing and silicon.

Acá vamos con el top, el cual consiste en un rectángulo doble, justo en el medio hice una forma de corazón, luego sujete con alfileres y pase una costura recta por todo alrededor, dejando los extremos abiertos, para darle la vuelta y cerrar con una costura simple. Luego arruche con hilo y aguja, justo en el centro del top, haciendo mas marcado el escote.

Here we go with the top, which consists of a double rectangle, right in the middle I made a heart shape, then I pinned it and sewed a straight seam all around, leaving the ends open, to turn it over and close it with a simple seam. Then, I sew it, right in the center of the top, making the neckline more marked.

Ahora para la cola de Susan la sirena, tuve 3 intentos fallidos, hasta que marqué esta, parece increíble como lo más simple suele funcionar, así cosi por todo el revés y haciendo un dobladillo en la cintura, luego le di la vuelta y con mucha paciencia recorte círculos y corazones para decorar con silicon frio y algunas puntadas para asegurar las piezas. Así me animé y le hice un centro más decorado al top.

Now for the tail of Susan the mermaid, I had 3 failed attempts, until I marked this one, it seems incredible how the simplest thing usually works, so I sewed all around the back and making a hem at the waist, then I turned it over and with much patience cut out circles and hearts to decorate with cold silicone and some stitches to secure the pieces. So I took the courage and made a more decorated center to the top.
