Hoy les traigo un proyecto simple pero útil tanto en la práctica de la costura como en la función de lo que vamos a elaborar, una cartuchera o estuche ideal para lápices, borradores, maquillaje o lo que se te ocurra guardar allí, los materiales son: telas, pintura, pincel, aguja, hilo, tijeras y un cierres, del resto es creatividad y paciencia.

Today I bring you a simple but useful project both in the practice of sewing and in the function of what we are going to elaborate, a pencil case ideal for pencils, erasers, makeup or whatever you want to keep there, the materials are: fabric, paint, brush, needle, thread, scissors and a zipper, the rest is creativity and patience.

Bien, ahora corta dos rectángulos de tu tela, en la imagen tienes las medidas que usé pero tu puedes elegir hacerlo más grande o pequeño, según tu necesidad. Luego, procede a coser el cierre empieza, lo coloca al revés del extremo de tu tela, para luego darle vuelta y remallar o rematar la costura, yo no lo hice pero es un paso que te da mayor seguridad y calidad en el trabajo final.

Okay, now cut two rectangles from your fabric, in the image you have the measurements I used but you can choose to make it bigger or smaller, according to your needs. Then, proceed to sew the zipper, place it upside down at the end of your fabric, then turn it over and overlock or finish the seam. I didn't do it but it is a step that gives you more security and quality in the final work.

Es tiempo de unir los extremos, puede ser a mano o a máquina, yo use una puntada que simula la overlock, si la tuya es sencilla o prefieres a mano entonces usa una recta y luego zigzag. Una vez más busca la técnica que mejor te funcione. Ahora sí, dale vuelta a tu cartuchera, puedes plancharla si la tela lo permite para suavizar las costuras, es otro paso que le suma calidad a tu obra final.

It's time to join the ends, it can be by hand or machine, I used a stitch that simulates overlock, if yours is simple or you prefer by hand then use a straight stitch and then zigzag. Again, find the technique that works for you. Now turn your pencil case over, you can iron it if the fabric allows it to smooth the seams, this is another step that adds quality to your final work.

Paso final, toma pintura y pincel para decorar como gustes, aquí la creatividad es libre, usa una frase que te guste o una imagen con la cual te identifiques, también puedes bordar, timbrar, usa la técnica que tu talento permita explotar y diviértete así está lista tu cartuchera.
