Hola hivers, amantes de las costuras, hoy vengo con un tutorial que fue todo un reto para mí, se trata de un vestido para embarazada ajustable. Me tomó toda una semana hacerlo, pero finalmente lo logré, fue un poco difícil pues es primera vez que recibo un encargo de esa manera y porque nunca había hecho un top con copas, pero gracias a los tutoriales y referencias que consigues en @needleworkmonday pude lograrlo.
Hello hivers, sewing lovers, today I come with a tutorial that was quite a challenge for me, it is an adjustable maternity dress. It took me a whole week to make it, but finally I did it, it was a little difficult because it's the first time I receive an order like this and because I had never made a top with cups, but thanks to the tutorials and references that you get in @needleworkmonday I was able to do it.
Para este vestido compré 3 metros de seda, 60 cms de gasa para la pretina, 90 cm de elástica, medidas de acuerdo a las medidas de la embarazada, también usé hilo, tijera, aguja delgada para tela fina, maquina de coser, papel kraft para el patrón del busto, y fue lo primero que corté. Fueron 8 piezas para esta parte, ya que hice el forro de la misma tela, 4 para la parte frontal central del busto y 4 para la parte trasera del busto. Con cuidado las sujeté con alfiler y luego cosí, para asentar las costura planche. También corté unas tiras que miden 2 veces el talle trasero más 20 cm, para amarrar en la espalda. Estos tirantes van cosido en el top, para que la costura quede escondida, el extremo del tiro lo llevamos hacia adentro del busto, enfrentando los derechos, que quede todo como un sandwich, cosí, y al dar vuelta al top, nos queda como en la foto.
For this dress I bought 3 meters of silk, 60 cms of gauze for the waistband, 90 cm of elastic, measures according to the measurements of the pregnant woman, I also used thread, scissors, thin needle for fine fabric, sewing machine, kraft paper for the bust pattern, and it was the first thing I cut. There were 8 pieces for this part, since I made the lining from the same fabric, 4 for the front center of the bust and 4 for the back of the bust. I carefully pinned them together and then sewed them together, to set the planche stitching. I also cut some straps measuring 2 times the back waist plus 20 cm, to tie in the back. These straps are sewn on the top, so that the seam is hidden, the end of the shot we take it into the bust, facing the rights, so that everything is like a sandwich, I sewed, and turning the top, we are as in the photo
Para la falda, corte dos piezas con la medida de la cadera, para la cintura reduje unos 3 cm de cada lado, quedando en forma de “A” la falda. Para la pretina use esa última medida de largo y el alto unos 11cms al doblar, cosí cerrando la pretina para luego unir las otras dos piezas, falda y top, primero una costura recta simple y luego un zigzag apretado para limpiar las orillas, dejando un espacio abierto en la pretina por donde atravesé la elástica y luego lo cerré, finalmente cosi el ruedo y planche todo el vestido.
For the skirt, I cut two pieces with the hip measurement, for the waist I reduced about 3 cm on each side, leaving the skirt in an "A" shape. For the waistband I used that last measurement and the height about 11cms when folded, I sewed closing the waistband to then join the other two pieces, skirt and top, first a simple straight seam and then a tight zigzag to clean the edges, leaving an open space in the waistband where I crossed the elastic and then I closed it, finally I sewed the hem and ironed the whole dress.
