Greetings to everyone in the community.Hope you all are doing great.First of all i want to thank you all for loving my last post so much.The reaction i got on that post motivated me to post more content for this community. So today i am here to share with you guys a sunflower keychain that i made for myself.
Lately i have been obssesed with sunflower.The blast of colours in this flower makes me so happy and it reminds me of the time when we used to eat them from our grandparents fields Whenever i see this flower, i feel so overwhelmed and nostalgic.From past few days i am feeling a little under the weather so i thought to make myself this beautiful flower to make myself happy.
Luckily i have many colors of yarn avaliable so i just grabbed the colours i wanted and started the project.
But the only problem i faced was the the brown yarn was thin(3ply) and orange one was 5ply so passing a big crochet hook from brown yarn was a bit difficult but honestly i didn't focus on the precision because i was just making this to make myself happy and not to give it to someone so I just did it the way I like.
So let me share with you guys the process i followed to make this amazing keychain.
Materials used
1)yarn (brown,yellow and green)
2)crochet hook(3mm)
3)glue gun
4)keyring
5)Tapestry needle.
The process
Step 1:
I started my making the brown part.The pattern I followed was magic ring,6sc,6 inc,1sc and 1inc,then 1sc,1inc,1sc.
You have to make two of them and then attach them.I made the front side with brown yarn and the back part with green yarn.
Step 2:
Then i started making the flower part.
The pattern I followed is:
1)chain 2
2)1dc
3)1triple crochet
4)ch 2
5)1 triple crochet
6)1 dc
7)slip stitch in next stitch
And then continue the same process in the whole row.
Step 3
Then i made the flower.The pattern i followed was
1)12 ch
2)1sc,1hdc,1dc,4 tr,1dc,1hdc,1sc
3)1slst,ch1,1slst
And then same goes for 2nd side.
Step 4
Then i took my tapestry needle and attached the keyring to the back.Then i added the flower to the back with a glue gun and its done.
And that was the final look of the project.It matched very well with my bag colours and please ignore my dirty bag.I will wash it someday but not now cause it's so cold these days.I struggle so much everyday to wake up and get ready for university.Our terminals are aound the corner so i am waiting for the semester break so i can enjoy some leisure time and focus on my pending projects.
