Cannot stop sock knitting ... / 靴下を編むのが止まらない！

I'm so much drawn to colorful sock yarns this year.

After I finished mine and my daughter's socks, I went to buy another one. This time it's for one of my friends. I wish I can make perfect fit without her foot.

The yarn I buy is Lana Grossa's 2020 Land Lust series.

After this I want to try yarn from Opal. Do you have any recommendation for colorful sock yarn?

I'll write about how sock knitting works next week. I have to take time to practice a presentation I do in German language ........ 😱

私と子供の靴下を編み終えて、また1玉買ってきてしまいました。。今年はいつになくカラフル靴下毛糸にはまっています。ドイツの秋のどんよりに加えてCOVID-19の影響で落ち着かないからかもしれません。

今編んでいるのはお友達に送りたい靴下で、自分や子どものとは違ってフィッティングしながら編めないのでぴったり作れるかどうか、腕の見せ所です。

本当は靴下がどうやって編まれていくのか、実は簡単だよと言うメッセージと共に投稿したかったのですが、今週ドイツ語でプレゼンがあり、その練習に時間がかかりそうで。。。

そんなこんなの急ぎ足の針仕事の月曜日です。でも靴下は仕事の合間に編んでいます😅

Well, sock knitting is addicting. I could have told you that ;) Great colors! And isn't the yarn fantastic? I have that yarn in a "strawberries and cream" colorway and I'm so happy with it. It's soft and smooth and easy to knit.

Opal has lovely and durable sock yarn. The yarn might feel a bit scratchy while knitting, but Opal is known for getting softer with wearing and washing.

Since the yarn shop in my town closed I buy most of my "normal sock yarn" from Lana Grossa via their Filati.cc store. No shipping costs for Austria and Germany and there is no minimum order thing - you can order a single skein. And I like that they don't use plastic in their packaging. I often browse their page and pay attention to the little percentage sign telling about price reduction (mostly ~ 20%) ;)

I remember you told me colourmart last year. This year I learn Filati.cc. No shipping cost and no minimum order are so attracting ..... Now I have less worry about lockdown 😁

Just I shouldn't start seeing the website. I can spend infinit time on it ...

紫色がアクセントになっていて、素敵な色合いの靴下ですね。そちらはこれから本格的な冬になるので、毛糸の靴下が大活躍しそうですね！こちらは明日、29℃です。もう夏もすぐそこまで来てます 😅
