It's Monday! I'm happy to share what I sewed last week 😊
Few years ago, I sewed a tank top using fabric I got from a sewing friend who lives in the same town. The fabric, which I believe is rayon, feels good on the skin, is lightweight, and dries quickly. Although the pattern was something I wouldn't normally choose, once I sewed it, I found it versatile for everyday wear, travel, and events, especially when paired with black skirts or pants. I really like it and wore it a lot this summer too.
Recently, my nomad spirit has been back, and I felt like having another travel-friendly outfit. I sewed a similar top.
It's quite a bold peacock pattern but I received good feedback from my friends and family so far. I already enjoy wearing it daily, at a market and going out in the night time 😊
When I think of what kind of features are needed for nomad clothing, considering that nomads ideally carry minimal luggage...
- Comfort
- Versatile for various situations (casual, travel, formal events, etc.)
- Easily hand-washable and quick-drying
- Lightweight and compact
- Resistant to wrinkles or wrinkles aren't much visible
Camping wears or outdoor wears are practical but it's not for attending parties. I want to explore something in the middle. Since it's getting fresher and already heading into fall in Germany, I will explore autumn and winter nomad clothing and I look forward it 😊

数年前に同じ街に住む洋裁好きのお友達と生地の交換をしたときにもらった生地でタンクトップを一枚縫いました。レーヨンと思われる生地で、肌触りが良く、軽く、すぐ乾きます。普段自分では選ばない柄だったのですが、いざ縫ってみると、日常や旅、黒いスカートやパンツを合わせるとイベントやお出かけまでいろいろなシーンで着られてとても気に入っています。
最近ノマド魂が戻ってきて、なんとなく旅に便利な服をもう一つほしくなり、似たような感じの記事で一枚縫いました。
結構派手な感じのクジャク柄です。さっそくマーケットに夜遊びに来て歩いています 😊
ノマド服の条件を考えてみると、ノマドは極力荷物を持たないことを前提として・・・
- 着心地がいい
- いろいろなシーンで着られる（普段、移動、お呼ばれ、イベントなどなど）
- 手で簡単に洗えてすぐに乾く
- 軽くて小さく畳める
- しわになりにくい
キャンプやアウトドア向けの衣料品も便利なのですが、パーティー向け、毎日着られるかというと（ドイツでは着られますが）、ちょっと違って、便利と見た目の両方というか中間を追求したいです。
ドイツは秋に向かって気温が下がりつつあるので、秋冬は寒いシーズンのノマド服を追求していきたいです。

I like those questions about nomadic-clothes!! (as you might have expected😅)
Indeed I am not a huge fan of outdoor-clothes, even though they are sometimes practical, I would almost always choose something I can wear in any activity + it is easy to wash, small ...etc.
And also I don't like to stand out too much as an outdoor person-just-coming-from-a-hike, when I just go for a coffee (on travels)😄 meanwhile standing out with a bold pattern is more my thing😊

年をとって、派手好みになった気がして、ちょっと豹柄をきる大阪のおばちゃんの気持ちがわかるななんて思いながら着ています 😂 最近金色も大好きです。
料理は・・・うちのだめオーブンに昨日りんごのケーキをこがされて（この前はパンもこがされました！）もう全然モチベーションあがりません 😭 なんかもうすべてを250度くらいで焼き尽くす感じなのです。前に住んでいた人から先日壊れた食洗機含め買いとったキッチンなのですが、コンロのガラストップにかけているところがあり、つかないコンロがあり、冷蔵庫もいまいちパワー不足の時があり、過去最大級の失敗の買い物でした。コロナにかかっていた時で実物を見ないで購入を決めたのがいけませんでした・・・・・・・ってRant, Complain, Talkに書いた方がいい内容をセブンさんへのコメントにごめんなさい 🙏
11月のブラックフライデー＆サイバーマンデーまで待って稼いでオーブンもコンロもそうとっかえしてやります😁なんなら冷蔵庫もかえたいですが、いくらになることやら w
つかないコンロはイライラしますよね・・・
家電の故障ってなぜか続くので、うちも冷蔵庫が壊れないか（もう10年以上）心配です😿
ストレスない環境を整えるのにも💰がかかりますね！

How cute. I actually prefer some fabrics to others when I an sewing a blouse especially this kind of fabrics that are soft and comfortable plus been easy to wash by hand and dry off quickly as well.
The peacock design on the fabrics makes it unique and beautiful. I love the cool colors. You do have eyes for quality fabrics.
wonderful top! I really like the fabric. it goes very well with jeans. Yes, you accurately described the criteria for travel clothing my dear. Unfortunately, natural fabrics are not always suitable for this.
