Make your own sports bra [ENG-ESP]

Hello friends, it's been a while since I posted here. But the important thing is that I'm back. Sometimes situations force us to step back from the hobbies we enjoy most. Sometimes full-time work, busy schedules, and illnesses rob us of our spirit and drive. However, it's always important to get back to them; they're things that keep us alive and energetic. For my part, I love writing and creating, so today I want to share with you a sewing project I made recently. It took me a couple of hours since I don't have a sewing machine and everything is done by hand.

Materials I used:

✅White cotton fabric (in my case, I used a recycled white shirt)
✅Thread and needle (if you have a sewing machine, even better)
✅Sports bra to use as a pattern
✅Scissors
✅12 centimeters of elastic, 0.50 centimeters wide
✅Bra pads

The first thing I did was unstitch the shirt I was going to use for the project. Then I placed the sports bra on top to make the pattern directly on the fabric.

I cut three sections for what would become the bra: two front sections, which are equivalent to the upper part of the bra, and a rectangular section, which will be the back section. These sections will form pockets for the sponges. And the back section.

Then I joined the top part of the bra with the rectangle, on the sides and on the top part only half, then I placed the elastic from the neckline of the bra to the bottom, to form a gather.

Finally I joined the front part with the back, at the shoulders and sides, then I introduced the sponges, so that it was shaped and this was the result:

I hope you enjoyed this project. See you later! Kisses! 💋

Espero les haya gustado este proyecto. ¡Hasta luego! besosss 💋
