Cuando fuí a comprar telas el lunes me encontré con una preciosura de telas tipo Beverly que son especiales para vestidos y decidí traerme un metro de tela ,un metro porque como es pegado pues me alcanzaría lo suficiente,quiero que me acompañen en este proceso haciendo este lindo vestido.👗🌺
When I went to buy fabric on Monday, I came across some gorgeous Beverly-style fabrics that are perfect for dresses, and I decided to get a meter of it. One meter is enough because it's a sewn fabric, so it would be sufficient. I want you to join me in this process of making this lovely dress. 👗🌺

Paso 01
Step 01
We start by cutting the corresponding pieces such as the front and back bodice. For this dress design, I've decided to make it with a semi-square neckline, and the back neckline will be cut 1 centimeter lower than the front neckline. Next, we cut the skirt pieces with a front slit and opening. I've also cut the simple sleeves and the strap for the suspenders at the back neckline, as it will have a cord tied around it.

We start sewing the pieces, we will go to sew the opening of the front of the dress, we will sew them along the edge with overlock stitching and join them when we get to the bottom we will mark the height we want of the opening, I have left the opening at 20 cm.

Next, we will join the side pieces to seal what will be the skirt of our dress. Then we will join each shoulder piece to be able to place the sleeves with overlock stitching and straight stitching to reinforce the sleeves.

Next, we will sew the edge of my neck to create the semi-square shape of the neckline, as I mentioned before. Then we make a 1 cm wide hem and stitch over it. I finish sealing the dress blouse at the sides and sew the edge of the sleeve, also making a small 2 cm hem.

Step 05
Finally, we position the top piece, the blouse, along with the skirt. Using pins, we locate each side seam or the joining of both pieces, and sew along the edge with overlock and zigzag stitches. I also overlocked the edge of the skirt of the dress and added a 2 cm wide hem. I finish by sewing the strap, turn it right side out, and cut it in half. I will sew it to the back waistband, leaving 1 cm of width at the shoulder. With this, we finish our dress.
