Greetings and blessings to my crafty friends. I hope you are all doing well, that you have a great start to the week, and that this month is filled with blessings, inspiration, and family togetherness.✨
Last week, at our farewell gathering among crafty friends, I wanted to bring a handmade gift to celebrate what we have shared throughout the year. So, I set out to crochet some mini Christmas trees that I turned into brooches.
I used Christmas green crochet yarn that I have been using in my latest December projects. For the trunk, I used the same type of yarn, but in gold, which gave it a warm and very special touch. Once I had the shape ready, I moved on to what I also enjoy very much: adding the little details. I put a little bow made of red ribbon on them and, at the top of the tree, a little gold flower that served as a star.
Saludos y bendiciones para mis amigas de las agujas, espero que estén muy bien, que tengan el mejor inicio de semana y que este mes sea de bendiciones, inspiración y unión familiar.✨
La semana pasada, en nuestra despedida entre amigas artesanas, quise llevar un detalle hecho con mis manos para celebrar lo que hemos compartido durante todo el año. Asà que me dediqué a tejer unos mini arbolitos de Navidad que convertà en broches.
Utilicé hilo crochet en un verde navideño que he estado usando en mis últimos proyectos de diciembre. Para el tronquito usé el mismo tipo de hilo, pero en color dorado, lo que le dio un toque cálido y muy especial. Una vez tenÃa la forma lista, pasé a hacer lo que, también, disfruto mucho: añadir los pequeños detalles. Les puse un lacito hecho con cinta roja y, en la punta del arbolito, una florecita dorada que hacÃa la función de estrella.

When I gave them to my friends, their reaction was wonderful. They laughed, hugged the brooch to their chests, and thanked me warmly. They immediately put them on their clothes. I was happy to see them so pleased, because for me, knitting has always been a way to express affection, and sharing it with them made it even more meaningful.
From that day on, I decided to keep one of the trees for myself, and I've been wearing it almost every day to keep my Christmas spirit alive. Every time I see it on my sweaters, it brings a smile to my face, because I love how cute and festive it looks, just like I enjoy everything about this season that I'm so excited about.
Cuando se los entregué a mis amigas, la reacción fue hermosa. Se rieron, se abrazaron el broche al pecho y me agradecieron con mucho afecto. De inmediato, se lo pusieron en su ropa. Me alegró verlas tan contentas, porque para mà tejer siempre ha sido una forma de expresar cariño, y compartirlo con ellas lo hizo aún más significativo.
Desde ese dÃa, decidà quedarme con uno de los arbolitos para mÃ, y lo he estado usando casi a diario para mantener vivo mi mood navideño. Cada vez que lo veo en mis suéteres se me dibuja una sonrisa, pues me encanta que se ve tan lindo y festivo, justo como suelo disfrutar todo lo que trae esta época que tanto me entusiasma.
