Hello to all who are part of this beautiful family, I am totally excited to be here with all of you and to share something really nice, a neighbor asked me the favor of making her son a costume of Andrés Bello, since the child's school would do a cultural activity, a closing project, then I accepted the challenge and I decided to do it, so let's see the step by step, I hope you like it a lot:
Paso 1: Usaremos un metro de tela, ya que solo haremos el chaleco de éste traje tan lindo. Tenemos las tela, los botones, el hilo negro, la tijera, y nuestra máquina de coser. Ya teniendo nuestro patrón listo, procederemos a cortar pieza por pieza con mucha paciencia y excelencia.
Step 1: We will use one meter of fabric, since we will only make the vest of this cute costume. We have the fabric, the buttons, the black thread, the scissors, and our sewing machine. Once we have our pattern ready, we will proceed to cut piece by piece with a lot of patience and excellence.
Paso 2: Procederemos a coser primeramente la parte delantera del chaleco o esmoquín, como quieran llamarlo, la parte delantera del esmoquin se divide en dos, esa parte la coseremos, tomaremos el ruedo y daremos un fino acabado, el cual luego uniremos a la pieza de la espalda y luego la otra pieza delantera del esmoquin, luego coseremos hombro con hombro para unir éstas piezas.
Step 2: We will proceed to sew first the front part of the vest or tuxedo, as you want to call it, the front part of the tuxedo is divided in two, we will sew that part, we will take the hem and we will give a fine finish, which we will then join to the back piece and then the other front piece of the tuxedo, then we will sew shoulder to shoulder to join these pieces.
Paso 3: éste paso es importante ya que daremos unos acabados esenciales para el traje, coseremos las mangas a la parte que ya está concretada, luego de coser las mandas, coseremos los puños, luego nos enfocaremos en colocar los botones que irán en la parte de adelante, marcamos con un color el lugar donde realizaremos los agujeros para colocar los botones, luego de haberlos echo, pondremos los botones en orden y con suma paciencia y dedicación.
Step 3: this step is important because we will give some essential finishes for the suit, we will sew the sleeves to the part that is already finished, after sewing the cuffs, we will sew the cuffs, then we will focus on placing the buttons that will go on the front, we mark with a color the place where we will make the holes to place the buttons, after having made them, we will put the buttons in order and with great patience and dedication.
