Happy Sunday and a lovely day to you all out there, to all creative minds and lovers of diy, I am here today to share with you the simple process taken to achieve this beautiful 2 pocket phone and card pouch made from a single piece of fabric.

Yesterday being Saturday, I had to get most of the request I got from people done before the beginning of another week, I started the making of this pouch as requested by a friend and as you all know, I love to make something different from the ones I had already made so as to make it look different and unique except in the situation where the person is specific about what he/she wanted. Just to bring out my creativity, I made this pouch from a single piece of fabric with pressing button to secure the items in both pocket one pocket in front for phone while the other pocket is at the back for cards or cash and you can see how beautiful the outcome is.

Let me show you how I got this beautiful pouch done with a single piece of fabric

I measured and cut out a long piece of fabric measuring 35 x 7" with interfacing iron on it

I folded it in two and sew 1" in front the left and right side

From the folded end, I measured 4" in and it was marked after which it was folded to the tip of the folded end

I marked 6" again from the folded end and folded it in just as I did initially

I cut out a small piece of 2 x 4" it was folded in and sewn together on both sides for the handle

It was folded in 2 and fix at the side of the pocket to be sewn together, I made a curve on both sides at the top of the fabric and it was sewn together to make the flip cover

The excess were trimmed off and the edges were notched

It was turned to the right side through the opening I left at the beginning of the sewing process and all edges were pushed out

This is how it looks, then I used my hand needle and thread to fix a pressing button on the flip cover and the opposite side

I also fix same button on the small pocket at the back to secure the items in it as well

I had my phone in the bigger pocket with flip cover

While in the small pocket, I have my cards well arranged and secure in it

This is the final and beautiful outcome of the 2 pocket phone and card pouch I made from a single piece of fabric, I hope you like the beautiful outcome.
