Greetings to you all on this beautiful day, I wish you all a happy new month and a lovely weekend, it is the beginning of a new month and I wish you all a productive and greater achievement in it. It's weekend and I'm sure most of you are having a great time off work with family and friends and for those at work, I you a stress free day and you engage in how to make ends meet. Today, I will be sharing with you this simple project of how I made a small double space card wallet with a pressing button to secure the cards.

Most of us need to go out with our ID cards and also cards to make transactions where needed since the era we are now, people hardly go out with huge cash instead we now make payments with our cards that is why we need this card wallet to keep our cards safe and secure.

I will be sharing with you the step by step process of making this card wallet with you and I'm sure you will like the simple and beautiful outcome.

To make this card wallet, I used one of my pieces of left over fabrics as I measured and cut out 13 x 6" which was set aside for me to cut out the pattern.

I cut out same shape from my interfacing and it was folded in 2 then I measured 2.5 x 4" with a curve on the top as seen below

I came down by 1" and connected it to the other side

I cut out the line from the 4" to the top where I make a curve

It was open up and I cut out the 1" from the other side

It was placed on the main fabric and lining to cut out same shape

The lining was placed on the main fabric with the interfacing iron on the main fabric and it was sewn round leaving an opening where it can be turned inside out

It was turned inside out and the opening was too stitched on

I then folded the bigger side in before the other side

I top stitched on it round then I used my hand needle and thread to fix a pressing button on the top and the opposite side to secure the items in it

This is the final outcome with my cards well fix in each pocket

I hope you like the simplicity and beautiful outcome of my cards wallet, you can make this for yourself or as a gift for your love ones.
