Greetings to you all on this beautiful day and I hope you are all doing great, it's another creative time in this community for me and a great pleasure to share with you all this quick and easy turban cap I made for grandma. This is one of the simplest and easy cap you can make in just few minutes, it is useful and beautiful to make with just little piece of fabric.

Just as soon as I got back from church on Sunday, grandma sent a message to me that I should help her to make a cap she can use to replace the old one she had which has torn and become old. Then I decided to quickly make this simple turban cap and sent to her before I forget.

To make this cap, I needed a stretchy fabric so as to make it easy to wear and I looked into my left over fabrics bag to search for any stretchy fabric as grandma wouldn't mind any color I use, fortunately, I found this particular fabric and it was just enough for the size I needed.

Let's get started with the cutting and sewing process

From the stretchy fabric, I measured 14 x 12" on fold and it was cut out

It was folded in two and I made a little curve from the top to the bottom just as seen below and it was cut out

I took it to the sewing machine and folded the top in by 1" and it was sewn on

It was folded in two on the wrong side and I took my hand needle with matching color thread and I ran I long stitch on the curve side from the to to the bottom

It was gathered together and tightly secured with the needle and thread

Finally, it was turned to the right side and this is the beautiful outcome

I decided to try it on to see how beautiful and nice it looks, this will be sent to grandma and I'm sure she will love it.
