Hello everyone

Greetings to all lovers of diy and creativity, it is a great day today and I hope you are all doing great, it is with great pleasure that I bring to you the making of this simple matching pouch for my sister in-law gown outfit using same fabric from the left over pieces I had.

Sometimes ago, I made a gown outfit for my sister in-law using a double pattern outfit and the outcome was really nice and beautiful, it was admired by lots of people even family and friends after the making of the outfit, I had some left over which I kept safe where I used to keep some of my left over pieces for future use.

Not quite long, my sister in-law asked that she would want me to make a simple pouch for her just as I usually do for my mother in-law, most times, after sewing my mother in-law outfit, I used the remaining fabric to make a matching pouch for her for the particular outfit which most people love and admire, that was the same my sister in-law requested from me, luckily enough for me, I didn't trash out the left over pieces so, I took out some pieces to make this simple pouch for her.

Join me in the cutting and sewing process of this simple pouch with this few steps by step process.
From the pieces of fabric, I measured and cut out 2 pieces of 5 x 9" with interfacing iron on the main fabric with lining

I placed a zipper on the main fabric with lining and sew it on both sides after which it was top stitched on the right side

I placed the main fabric together and the lining together, then I sew on both sides leaving an opening on the lining where it can be turned inside out as the zipper was opened to the middle.

The excess zipper was trimmed off and it was turned to the right side through the zipper opening, after which the opening on the lining was top stitched on for neat finishing

This is the final and beautiful outcome, I hope you like the simplicity and how it matches with the outfit

This can be used to secure her phone and other little items she will be going out with, I hope she likes the beautiful outcome when delivered to her.

Thanks so much, it's always my pleasure to share and I'm glad you like it
What a great blessing to have such a wonderful sister in-law like
Wow! Thanks so much for your comment.
I'm so glad you were able to make your sister-in-law's little bag, and it was such luck that you still had some of the fabric from her dress. Thank you for the tips on how to make it; I need several more like it now.
The good thing is that after making each outfit, I always keep the left over for future use and this has been so helpful to me. I'm sure with these few steps you will be able to make up yours. Thanks so much for stopping by.
