Hello everyone

Greetings to you all on this beautiful day in this great community, i hope you are all doing great and having a great time out there, it's towards the end of the year and most of us are busy with one or two things just to make this season a great and happy one for ourselves and everyone around us.

It's another beautiful day for me here as i continue with my sewing project, as i have mentioned in my previous post that from the beginning of the month to the middle of it, i will be busy making different outfits for people around me for Christmas, if you have been following my blog, you will see that i have made few outfit already and still in the making of others as well. Today, i will be sharing with you the making of this simple gown outfit for my neighbor's little daughter.

Few weeks ago, i was given this African print fabric by me neighbor that i should help her make simple outfit for her 3 children for Christmas just for the children to put on new outfit regardless of the cost as there is no enough money to spend on clothes this year. I tried as much as possible to make this within her budget and they were so beautiful.

I started with the making of her first daughter outfit of a gown with a V-shape patch in front and a flare sleeve which came out so beautiful.

Then i proceeded to make a top and trouser for her little son from the remaining fabric using a plain fabric to make the placket and pocket

After making these outfit for my neighbor's first daughter and her little son, the remaining fabric was folded in two with the hip circumference measurements of her little daughter, her full length and other necessary measurements were marked on the fabric and it was cut out.

The back bodice was cut out as i placed the front on a folded fabric to cut out the back with zipper allowance at the back

I cut out facing for the front and back bodice and also from the plain fabric, i cut out a small piece and placed it on the front bodice and it was sewn

The facing was used to turn the front neckline and it was looking beautiful just as tge one i made for the first daughter

At the back bodice, i placed a zipper on the zipper allowance and it was sewn together with facing to turn the neckline as well

The front and back were sewn together at the shoulder before it was sewn together at the side seam allowance

For the sleeves, i cut out a flare sleeve just like i did for her sister with a bias tape to pipe the hem of the flare round. This is the final and beautiful outcome.

This is tge back view with zipper sewn to it

This are the beautiful outfit i made for my neighbor's children for Christmas within her budget and they all came out so beautiful. I hope my neighbor will be so glad to receive them when delivered to her.

Thanks so much for your time, support, comment and encouragement. You can visit my blog for other beautiful creativities. Until my next post, do have a great and blessed day.
