Justo ésta semana se acaba el mes de septiembre y otra vez estamos casi a punto de celebrar el día de Halloween, aunque en algún momento pienso que un día se vuelve infinito, a veces siento que el tiempo pasa volando…
Hablando del mes de Halloween, traigo el día de hoy a una personita que usa un vehículo muy particular para desplazarse, y que estará esperando pacientemente a que seas engañado por el caramelo y así pescarte.🐜

Me gusta mucho el mes de Halloween, en lo primero que pienso son en las películas de Tim Burton, mi director de cine favorito, por supuesto no solo en Halloween, la verdad es que en cualquier momento veo sus películas, todas son realmente misteriosas y maravillosas.
Ahora les muestro el paso a paso de mi costura y los materiales que utilicé amigos.

Para hacer ésta bruja de tela es necesario hacer una figura circular, y para eso es la tapa del frasco; el dibujo circular servirá como una guía por donde debe pasar el hilo. Luego se cose en dirección circular una costura suelta, de esas que se ajustan al jalar el hilo.
To make this fabric witch is necessary to make a circular figure, and for that is the lid of the jar; the circular drawing will serve as a guide through which the thread must pass. Then a loose seam is sewn in a circular direction, one of those that are adjusted by pulling the thread.
La idea es guardar el algodón dentro de la tela mientras se va jalando el hilo poco a poco, y lograr la forma similar de una pelota.
Pero, en éste caso no se va a cerrar completamente la pelota porque encima se colocará la cabeza. Con esto se logra el cuerpo de la pequeña bruja.
The idea is to keep the cotton inside the fabric while pulling the thread little by little, and achieve the shape of a ball.
But, in this case the ball will not be completely closed because the head will be placed on top. With this, the body of the little witch is achieved.
La misma operación se hace con su rostro, con ayuda de una tapa se realiza un círculo y luego se dirige la costura suave en la dirección guiada por la línea.

La tela se ajusta luego de rellenar con el algodón, ésta pelota corresponde a la cabeza, por lo tanto es 1 cm más pequeña que la pelota color negro.

Luego se unen las dos pelotas una sobre otra y se coloca la nariz en el centro, una piedra blanca que sirve para hacer pulseras. La nariz puede ser de diferentes tamaños, yo quería que tuviera una nariz grande así que ésta me gustó mucho.
Then the two balls are joined one on top of the other and the nose is placed in the center, a white stone that can be used to make bracelets. The nose can be of different sizes, I wanted it to have a big nose so I liked this one a lot.
Para el cabello seleccioné este tipo de material que es muy resistente y no se desvanecerá tan fácil, aquí en las tiendas de costura lo llaman Poliéster o Algodón Duro y se usa de distintas maneras.
En mi caso, su forma esponjosa es buena para lograr la textura del cabello y se cose fácilmente a la cabeza, ahora solo falta agregarle los detalles y accesorios con los que se vestirá.
For the hair I selected this type of material that is very resistant and will not fade so easily, here in the sewing stores they call it Polyester or Hard Cotton and it is used in different ways.

Se debe recortar la forma de la capa en dos piezas de tela, el tamaño debe cubrir bien el cabello y llegar hasta el suelo.

Se cose la capa y se mide al cuerpo para calcular hasta donde coser, la idea es no cubrir completamente su cara y sobresalga su nariz cuando tenga la capa puesta.

Luego se agregan los últimos detalles con retazos de tela, para hacer la ilusión de un traje viejo que fue desgastado con el tiempo.
Los ojos de la bruja los hice con hilo de coser.

También hice una flor para su cabello enrollando un retazo de tela rosa, y se cose la base para que la flor no pierda su forma.
Con éste paso realizado, la pequeña bruja está lista en un 80%.
I also made a flower for her hair by rolling a piece of pink fabric, and sewed the base so that the flower does not lose its shape.
With this step done, the little witch is 80% ready.
El vehículo tradicional se realiza con un palito delgado, alrededor se le cose un cuadro de tela color negro.
Aquí fue donde utilicé la tela con textura de malla.
The traditional vehicle is made with a thin stick, around which is sewn a square of black fabric.

Por último hacemos la trampa con la que se divertirá ésta pequeña bruja, una piedra cubierta con tela que tendrá forma de caramelo.
Por las noches saldrá volando y se entretendrá engañando y pescando a las personas que piensen que consiguieron un caramelo real.🐜
Finally we make the trap with which this little witch will have fun, a stone covered with fabric that will be shaped like candy.

Me gustó hacer este pequeño personaje, el año pasado no pude hacer uno porque estaba llena de tareas, así que estoy feliz de tener éste pequeño adorno para el mes de Halloween, la pondré en el centro de la mesa.
