Hoy terminé un peluche de elefante, normalmente cuando voy a visitar a un bebé por primera vez me gusta llevar un regalo, así que pensé en un peluche para que el pequeño se distraiga con el. Como es para un bebé, el elefante está hecho con tela de algodón muy suave y fácil de agarrar para manos pequeñas.
En la cultura asiática existe la superstición en donde se considera que estos mamíferos les aportan buena suerte.👀
Today I finished an elephant stuffed animal, usually when I go to visit a baby for the first time I like to bring a gift, so I thought of a stuffed animal for the little one to be distracted with. Since it is for a baby, the elephant is made with cotton fabric that is very soft and easy for little hands to hold.
In Asian culture there is a superstition that these mammals bring good luck.👀
🍭 Materiales:
Tela de algodón color rosa de puntos blancos.
Tela de algodón color rojo con manchas blancas.
Algodón para rellenar.
Tijera, hilo y agujas.
Papel y lápiz.

- Cotton for stuffing.
- Scissors, thread and needles.
- Paper and pencil.
Éste tipo de elefantes suelen aparecer en las caricaturas para niños, tienen una forma con bordes suaves pero se puede apreciar directamente que se trata de un elefante.
Tiene una parte marcada que no se coserá, que es por donde se dará vuelta.
This type of elephants usually appear in cartoons for children, they have a shape with soft edges but you can see directly that it is an elephant.

Con ayuda del molde de papel se sacan las formas para la tela, el cuerpo se dibujara dos veces, y las orejas como serán dos se dibujaran cuatro veces.
With the help of the paper mold we draw the shapes for the fabric, the body will be drawn twice, and the ears, as there will be two of them, will be drawn four times.
Se va cosiendo a pasos pequeños por toda la línea que dibuja al peluche, la costura debe apretarse bien. Y se deja la parte sin coser por donde se volteará la tela y pasará el algodón.
It is sewn in small steps along the line that draws the teddy, the seam should be tightened well. And leave the unsewn part where the fabric will be turned over and the cotton will go through.
Se debe hacer un corte en la parte de las patas y la trompa, para que se pueda recrear bien la figura al voltearla. Con cuidado de no cortar el hilo.
Luego se rellena con el algodón.
A cut should be made in the part of the legs and the trunk, so that the figure can be recreated well when it is turned over. Be careful not to cut the thread.
Then it is stuffed with cotton.
Se hace el mismo procedimiento con las orejas, luego de rellenarlas con algodón se pegan bien al cuerpo del elefante.
Sus ojos y su cola se hacen con el hilo de coser, sin usar pedrería en éste caso porque un bebé tiende a llevarse los juguetes a la boca. Así será un juguete seguro.
The same procedure is done with the ears, after stuffing them with cotton, they are glued well to the elephant's body.
Its eyes and tail are made with sewing thread, without using rhinestones in this case because a baby tends to put toys in its mouth. This way it will be a safe toy.
Con todo el procedimiento hecho ya tenemos de resultado un animado peluche esponjoso y suave.
With all the procedure done, we have as a result a fluffy and soft cuddly toy.

Cada que salgo de mi casa siento que me voy a derretir en el camino, y lo peor es que no cae uní una llovizna , pero bueno, este regalo está muy lindo y práctico para un bebé, me encantan estos pequeños peluches y de seguro debe ser súper suavecito. Saludos!
