Making #haturday blog / Pimping my straw sun hat #travel #relaxation

Because reading and sleeping in the car is kinda boring and I didnt’t get this done in the last few days at home, I planned to do this along the way during travelling. Always trying to do as much in the we hours of the day.

I wear a hat a lot when we are in the sun.
But i also like all things fashionable color coordinated, call me autistic because I indeed can be and not ashamed about it either, and in all things is a blog opportunity aswell.

So I brought a little pack with a needle, thread and tassels for the hat, and the idea to make new belt from tassel fabric that can be changed when the outfit is different is kinda posh and cool.

The first one is elastic pink where you also can make cute bracelets from, I did a tutorial about it once maybe i will do one this holiday as i also brought beads, I love being creative.

I also brought beads to ake a chain for mty glasses. That I will also share.

Here your see the step by step :

First remove the brown small belt
take out whatever yopu want on the hat next, I took tassels
measure what length you need, round.
cut the right size
sew together with thread.

same with this option of elastic band

The end result :

5 new belts I can use and combine with summer dresses in the summer, and this holiday in Italy. Ofcourse I will add picture when I wear it this weeks.
