Todo inició cuando me invitaron a participar en una iniciativa realizada por @mayvil llamada "Nadando con ballenas" el cuál tenía la intención de realizar una serie de preguntas a cada participante sobre ballenas en general, cómo cuál era su ballena favorita, qué haría su tuviera la oportunidad de volverse una, etc. .

Al yo recibir la invitación, me animé muchísimo a participar, pero cómo quería hacerlo a mi manera, quise hacer un bordado para incluirlo en la publicación. Lamentándolo mucho, no pude terminar a tiempo el bordado para participar. Así que para no desanimarme, decidí al menos compartirlo con ustedes ♥

It all started when I was invited to participate in an initiative by @mayvil called "Swimming with whales" which had the intention of asking each participant a series of questions about whales in general, such as what was their favorite whale, what would they do if they had the chance to become one, etc.

When I received the invitation, I was very excited to participate, but since I wanted to do it my way, I wanted to make an embroidery to include it in the publication. Unfortunately, I was not able to finish the embroidery in time to participate. So in order not to get discouraged, I decided to at least share it with you ♥

Como notarán, se trata de dos adorables ballenas nadando en el mar. Realicé este bordado con unas combinaciones de hilos de coser y de bordar que fui encontrando en mi cajita de hilos.

En esta foto señalo las puntadas que más resaltan. Así cómo la puntada margarita para las algas, la puntada Satin para las barriguitas de las ballenas, así cómo también la espalda de la ballena lila, y la puntada "larga y corta" para la espalda de la ballena azúl oscuro.

As you will notice, there are two adorable whales swimming in the sea. I made this embroidery with some combinations of sewing and embroidery threads that I found in my thread box.

In this photo I point out the stitches that stand out the most. Like the daisy stitch for the seaweed, the Satin stitch for the whales' bellies, as well as the back of the lilac whale, and the "long and short" stitch for the back of the dark blue whale.
