I haven't had a project for a while now, since I finished Oogieliboos for the whole family including myself. I wasn't sure what to knit next! I still want to knit a blanket as well as a giant throw for our couch which has been destroyed by children and cats ππ
However, my mom just returned from the UK, for the last time. She has finally retired. Her health had declined terribly and she has become very frail. It's difficult, beyond words, to see one's parents suffer the ravages of age. Retiring from nursing at 74, though, I would say she was long overdue for retirement.
So, I decided that she too, needs and Oogilieboo, especially since she has lost so much weight. I just want to keep her warm and comfortable.
I love the colour I chose. It's another ombre wool, but I think it will suit my mother beautifully.
I am also very excited to have a new project! It's very good for me and the process of knitting is very therapeutic.
I will post my progress as I go along ππππ
Wow! a very creative and beautiful masterpiece.
Thank ou so much! I am so excited to see what it will look like when I am done. I love this ombre wool! They have many colour options but I love the way it changes colour as you go. It makes knitting just so much more exciting <3
I can't wait to see it done too so waiting for your next update about this soon. Have a nice day.
Yaaaay! Thank you! <3 I will probably post again when I am about 1/4 done :)
