Cabeza de serpiente 🐍 para llaveros. // Snake head 🐍 for keychains.

Hola amigos, espero que estén bien. En estos días he estado tejiendo proyectos pequeños y rápidos, la verdad ando buscando estar ocupada haciendo llaveros que se puedan culminar en pocas horas. Necesito mucho distraer mi mente y el tejido siempre ayuda.

Una amiga me había comentado sobre si yo sabría tejerle una 🐍 culebra, eso fue hace tiempo ⏱️. Entonces lo recordé y empecé a crear empezando desde la cabeza porque es lo que más resalta en este proyecto, lo demás es repetitivo para lograr el largo que queramos de la culebra.

También es la primera vez que tejo esta figura. Elegí el hilo pabilo color verde porque me gustó el brillo de este hilo. Es un pabilo diferente a los que he comprado antes, su aspecto es como metalizado. Es muy áspero para tejer, casi no resbala por el gancho y me cansó un poco tejer 🧶 con él. Aunque si me gusta mucho el acabado.

Hello friends, I hope you are well. These days I've been knitting small and quick projects, the truth is I'm looking to be busy making keychains that can be finished in a few hours. I really need to distract my mind and knitting always helps.

A friend had told me if I could knit her a 🐍 snake, that was a long time ago ⏱️. Then I remembered and started to create starting from the head because that is what stands out the most in this project, the rest is repetitive to achieve the length we want of the snake.

It is also the first time I weave this figure. I chose the green wick yarn because I liked the brightness of this yarn. It is a different wick than the ones I have bought before, its appearance is like metallic. It is very rough to knit with, it hardly slips on the hook and it made me a little tired to knit 🧶 with it. I really like the finish though.

No fue difícil lograr la forma ancha y aplanada de la cabeza. La verdad es que es un tejido sencillo y básico. He visto culebras tejidas con hilos matizados, combinando los colores por vueltas y más recientemente tejidas con Chenille. Las de Chenille son preciosas, pero no gastaría material haciéndola si no hay quien me la compre. Debo dar buen uso de los hilos que tengo porque no ha habido ventas en estos días. Tengo muchos hilos ya transformados en amigurumis 🙂

It was not difficult to achieve the wide and flattened shape of the head. The truth is that it is a simple and basic weave. I've seen snakes knitted with nuanced yarns, combining the colors by laps and more recently knitted with Chenille. The Chenille ones are beautiful, but I wouldn't waste material making it if there's no one to buy it for me. I must make good use of the yarns I have because there have been no sales these days. I have a lot of yarns already transformed into amigurumis 🙂

Después que tejí la cabeza lo que hice fue alargar un poco el cuello/cuerpo de la culebra 🐍 para luego hacerle un arco que servirá como aro o asa para guindar en el llavero. Siempre habrá alguna persona interesada en llevarse uno de estos peculiares llaveritos, eso espero.

Agradezco mucho el apoyo que dan a mis publicaciones. Espero pronto compartirles un proyecto que tengo en mente y que estoy segura que les gustará.

A esta culebra 🐍 le coloqué ojos de seguridad con tonos verdes 😁 para hacerla intimidante y peligrosa 😉 además le bordé una sonrisa algo macabra jejeje.

After I knitted the head, what I did was to lengthen a little the neck/body of the snake 🐍 and then make a bow that will serve as a ring or handle to hang on the keychain. There will always be someone interested in taking one of these peculiar little keychains, I hope so.

To this snake 🐍 I put security eyes with green tones 😁 to make it intimidating and dangerous 😉 I also embroidered a somewhat macabre smile hehehe.
