Hey lovelies ❤️
It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese 😍
Welcome to my blog 🤗

In this post I will be sharing with you how I made some roses that was used to design a flare gown that I made for my customer's daughter. Adding hand-made roses is one of the fanciest way to add a touch of beauty to kiddies outfits. These roses are not just a sign of creativity but they add a touch of elegance to baby girl's dresses which makes it a perfect choice for birthdays or special events like Christmas.

This customer wants a beautiful gown that her daughter will rock during this Christmas period and it was a perfect choice from the style to choice of fabric and addition of roses.

These roses are quite easy to make just that it takes so much time. The day I created the roses i didn't do any other thing that day. This shows how time-demanding the process is. In another post that I will be sharing some other day, the next thing is to attach the roses to the bodice, waistline, flare or even every part of a dress.

Materials Needed

  • 3 yards of organza fabric
  • Matching threads
  • Fabric glue
  • Scissors

Step by Step

  • Start by cutting your organza fabric into a 60" long strip and 3" wide on fold. You can adjust the width to suit what you want whether you want it to be big, small or full.

  • Next, head to your sewing machine to sew a straight stitch along the length of the strip.

  • Now, start the forming of your rose. From one end of the strip begin to roll it tightly to form the center and gradually build round it to create the full rose.

  • Next, use your fabric glue to hold the layers together at the base where they meet. Continue the process until you have completely formed the rose.

  • Now repeat the process for each rose until you reach the number you want. I need about 20 to 25 for the gown. It will be attached all around the dress.
