Saludos estimados Hivers amantes del tejido, la costura y todas las artes manuales, por acá estamos nuevamente después que tuviera más de una semana con problemas del internet en mi casa, sin forma de poder escribir nada, además de los continuos cortes de electricidad que se dan por la zona donde vivo, resulta por demás problemático esta situación que muchas veces se torna insoportable debido a que cuando uno más necesita de esos servicios no los quitan, precisamente en horas de la mañana cuando inicie a escribir este post nos quitaron el servicio de energía eléctrica, por lo cual espero poder publicar en el transcurso del día dependiendo por supuesto de la llegada de electricidad e internet, que por lo general la están quitando entre 4 a 5 horas cada día.

Hoy les traigo un proyecto muy lindo que es un conjunto para una de mis niñas, lo cual realice con mucho amor como siempre, porque definitivamente uno a las cosas que realiza tiene que ponerle mucho cariño para que las cosas salgan más lindas y mejores, la tela que utilice es un retazo de una tela tipo polar estampada que tenía de otro proyecto por lo cual tuve que colocarle en los puños de las mangas y en la parte de los bajos de la chaquetita una tela tipo puños que por cierto le combinaba muy bien a pesar de ser este también un retazo que tenía por allí, también para alargar los pantalones tuve que colocarle en los bajos unos puños de esta tela.

Lo importante de utilizar estos retazos para realizarle algunas piezas de vestir a los niños es que podemos realizarle diferentes tipos de prendas de vestir porque en el caso de los niños no llevan mucha tela y se adaptan de acuerdo a lo grande del retazo, en este caso me di cuenta de que utilizando esos dos retazos me salía lo que quería para la niña, que por cierto era algo que me había solicitado con capucha.

Corte de las piezas

Con los patrones ya trazados procedí a cortar las piezas según patrón, pero que como ya les manifesté antes, estuve que doblar en los patrones el margen faltante en la tela polar para reponerlo con la tela de puños, tanto en las mangas como en los bajos del pantalón y en la parte inferior de la casaca.

De esa manera corte las piezas de traseras y delanteras de la casaca, las mangas y la capucha, igualmente las piezas del pantalón, para luego cortar los puños de la casaca, parte baja del cuerpo y los puños para el pantalón.

Ese corte lo calculé así debido a que ya había medido de diferentes formas y me di cuenta de que para que le salieran las piezas con las medidas adecuadas debía alargar con los retazos de la tela de puños, porque para el caso de los niños es preferible que la ropa le quede un poco grande a que le quede pequeña, ya que ellos siempre están creciendo.

Today I bring you a very nice project that is a set for one of my girls, which I made with love as always, because you definitely have to put a lot of love to the things you do to make things come out nicer and better, the fabric I used is a remnant of a printed fleece type fabric that I had from another project so I had to place on the cuffs of the sleeves and on the bottom of the jacket a cuffs type fabric that by the way combined very well even though this was also a remnant that I had there, also to lengthen the pants I had to place on the bottom cuffs of this fabric.

The important thing about using these scraps to make some pieces of clothing for children is that we can make different types of clothing because in the case of children do not carry much fabric and adapt according to the size of the scrap, in this case I realized that using these two scraps I got what I wanted for the girl, which by the way was something that I had requested with a hood.

Cutting the pieces

With the patterns already traced, I proceeded to cut the pieces according to the pattern, but as I mentioned before, I had to fold the missing margin in the patterns in the polar fleece fabric to replace it with the cuffs fabric, both in the sleeves and in the bottom of the pants and in the lower part of the jacket.

So I cut the front and back pieces of the jacket, the sleeves and the hood, as well as the trouser pieces, and then I cut the cuffs of the jacket, the lower part of the body and the cuffs for the pants.

I calculated this cut because I had already measured in different ways and I realized that in order to get the pieces with the right measurements I had to lengthen the cuffs with the fabric scraps, because in the case of children it is preferable that the clothes fit a little big than a little small, since they are always growing.

Inicie la costura con las piezas para la casaca, cosiendo los laterales y hombros, así como la costura de las mangas, y luego a esas costuras pasarles zigzag para un mejor acabado.
