Un saludo mi querida comunidad @needleworkmonday esta vez les comparto un nuevo proyecto muy especial ya que esta vez lo realice para mi hijo para usar en estos días venideros en la playa. Por esto le elabore un short utilizando la tela microfibra beach que trae una gran cantidad de colores y estampados muy acordes para usar en diferentes tipos de prendas ideales para llevar a la playa. Esta vez salí con el a comprar el material ya que quería que todo fuera a su gusto tanto el estampado de tela como el Cordón o trenza decorativa que se coloca en la pretina. En realidad me encanto todo lo que escogió y el resultado tambien fue el esperado tanto para el como para mi.

For this I made him a short using the microfiber beach fabric that brings a lot of colors and prints very suitable for use in different types of garments ideal for wearing to the beach. This time I went out with him to buy the material because he wanted everything to be to his liking, both the print fabric and the cord or decorative braid that is placed on the waistband. I really loved everything he chose and the result was also as expected for both him and me.

Vamos a iniciar con este nuevo proyecto que les comparto hoy con mucho cariño y se trata de un short playero para caballeros que elabore para mi hijo. Como siempre les recomiendo cortar todas las piezas necesarias para su confección. Este modelo consta de 2 parte delanteras y traseras como tambien 4 piezas para los bolsillos laterales tipo ojal. Para comenzar vamos a marcar en todas las piezas por los costados tanto en ancho de la pretina como tambien la abertura de los bolsillos. Inicialmente unimos una pieza delantera con una trasera dejando el espacio sin coser para la abertura de los bolsillos. Luego cosemos un par de piezas del bolsillo haciendo coincidir las marcas, por ultimo cosemos por el borde el contorno de los bolsillos

Let's start with this new project that I share today with much affection and it is a beach shorts for men that I made for my son. As always I recommend you to cut all the necessary pieces for its confection. This model consists of 2 front and back parts as well as 4 pieces for the side buttonhole pockets. To begin, we will mark the width of the waistband and the opening of the pockets on all the pieces on the sides. Initially we join a front piece with a back piece leaving the space unsewn for the pocket opening. Then we sew a couple of pieces of the pocket matching the marks, finally we sew along the edge of the pocket outline.

Ahora vamos a unir ambas piezas por la parte del tiro como tambien por la entrepiernas. El siguiente paso es planchar bien las costuras esto tambien es parte del buen acabado de una pieza, ademas con esta me ayudo a marcar antes de llevar a la maquina de coser el doblez de la pretina y de ambos ruedos de la bota

Now we are going to join both pieces at the waistband and the crotch. The next step is to iron the seams well, this is also part of the good finishing of a piece, also with this one it helped me to mark before taking to the sewing machine the folds of the waistband and both hems of the boot.

Al coser la pretina dejamos un espacio para introducir la elástica, luego cerramos esa abertura estiramos para que el fruncido sea uniforme y pasamos dos costuras centrales por donde vamos a pasar el cordón o trenza decorativa. Por ultimo cosemos el doblez de los ruedos y para esto utilice la aguja gemela o doble

When sewing the waistband we leave a space to introduce the elastic, then we close that opening, stretch so that the gathering is uniform and pass two central seams where we are going to pass the cord or decorative braid. Finally we sew the fold of the hems and for this we use the twin needle.

Listo de esta manera hemos terminado este lindo proyecto como es un short playero para caballero con bolsillos laterales tipo ojal, en una tela super linda con un estampado bien colorido, espero les haya gustado y sea de mucho provecho.
