Un saludo mi querida comunidad @needleworkmonday esta vez les comparto un proyecto muy especial como es un lindo y tierno vestido para bebe de 0 a 3 meses, muy sencillo y rápido de hacer combinando dos tipos de tela, y así crear ese bonito diseño además personalizado a nuestro gusto a el de nuestro cliente en caso de ser para la venta. En esta oportunidad estaré usando tela de algodón con un lindo y coqueto estampado de unicornio en la parte inferior, lo que será la falda para una hermosa bebé, y en la parte superior estaré usando tela de rib o acanalada en color blanco, con unos coquetos detalles de volantes en las mangas que hará lucir a la prenda más vistosa aunque aquí la bebé que lo llevará puesto será la protagonista. Ahora bien sin más comencemos manos a la obra.

Greetings, my dear @needleworkmonday community! This time, I'm sharing a very special project with you: a cute and sweet dress for babies aged 0 to 3 months. It's very simple and quick to make, combining two types of fabric to create this beautiful design, which can also be customized to our liking or that of our customer if it's for sale. This time, I'll be using cotton fabric with a cute and charming unicorn print on the bottom, which will be the skirt for a beautiful baby girl, and on the top, I'll be using white ribbed fabric with charming ruffle details on the sleeves that will make the garment look more eye-catching, although the baby girl wearing it will be the star of the show. Now, without further ado, let's get to work.

Lo primero que hice fue cortar las piezas de tela, para así embonarlas con alfiler y luego proceder a coser, en este caso corte la parte delantera y trasera en la tela de rib, así como también las tiras de los volantes que de largo serán de aproximadamente la misma medida del contorno de la manga multiplicado por 1.5, y de alto yo la dejé de 5 y 3 cm respectivamente ya que quiero que uno de los volantes sobre salga más que la otra. Procedo hacerle una costura en zig zag por todo el borde curvo de la tira para que tenga esa forma fruncida y por el lado recto haré con una costura recta pero más abierta para que s medida que vaya cosiendo se vaya arrugando la tela y me quede ya con la forma de volante que quiero. La ubico con alfiler a la manga y procedo a coser.

The first thing I did was cut the pieces of fabric so that I could pin them together and then sew them. In this case, I cut the front and back pieces from the rib fabric, as well as the ruffle strips, which will be approximately the same length as the sleeve circumference multiplied by 1.5. I made them 5 cm and 3 cm high, respectively, because I want one of the ruffles to stick out more than the other. I sew a zigzag stitch along the entire curved edge of the strip to give it a gathered shape, and on the straight side I sew a straight stitch, but more open so that as I sew, the fabric wrinkles and I end up with the ruffle shape I want. I pin it to the sleeve and proceed to sew.

El próximo paso es comenzar a repetir el mismo paso del fruncido pero con la tela de la falda, para ello medire el ancho de la cintura y lo multiplicare por 1.5 para proceder a coser la orilla en zig zag y luego con costura abierta para arruchar.

The next step is to start repeating the same gathering step but with the skirt fabric. To do this, I will measure the width of the waist and multiply it by 1.5 to proceed to sew the edge in zigzag and then with an open seam to gather.

ubico de la misma forma con alfiler para cerrar y luego ubico las cuarto partes tanto de la parte superior previamente cosida y la falda dejando el remate por la parte de atrás, cosemos igualmente con recta y luego zig zag y ya estaría listo nuestro proyecto.

I will pin it in the same way to close it and then I will place the four parts of both the previously sewn top and the skirt, leaving the finish at the back. We will sew in the same way with a straight stitch and then zigzag, and our project will be ready.
