Un saludo mi querida comunidad @needleworkmonday esta vez les comparto un nuevo proyecto de costura tomando como referencia los modelos que ya he hecho anteriormente, en este caso un hermoso y coqueto vestido pero sin volantes, un modelo sencillo pero con un detalle especial en el borde, un dobladillo muy lindo que le agrega ese toque diferente a una prenda básica, combinando colores y estampados a nuestro gusto, super fácil y rápido de hacer. Ahora bien sin más comencemos manos a la obra.
Greetings, my dear @needleworkmonday community! This time, I'm sharing a new sewing project based on designs I've made before. In this case, it's a beautiful and flirty dress without ruffles, a simple design but with a special detail on the hem—a very cute hem that adds a unique touch to a basic garment. You can combine colors and patterns to your liking, and it's super easy and quick to make. Now, without further ado, let's get started.

Lo primero que haremos será cortar las piezas colocando los patrones correspondientes, parte delantera, trasera y mangas, en este caso no haré volantes pero cortaré las mangas cortas ya que le pienso hacer un dobladillo en la orilla. Unimos todo con alfiler y pasamos a coser, primero la parte de los hombros, luego las mangas y los costados.
The first thing we will do is cut the pieces by placing the corresponding patterns, front, back, and sleeves. In this case, I will not make ruffles, but I will cut the sleeves short since I plan to hem the edges. We pin everything together and start sewing, first the shoulders, then the sleeves and sides.
El próximo paso es cortar la falda para ello voy a medir 21 cm aproximadamente de largo para un bebé de 0 a 3 meses, luego le hago el dobladillo y cierro ambos extremos con recta y zig zag. Luego coloco o encuentro cara con cara de las telas principales y sujeto con alfiler para así proceder a coser y unir ambas piezas, parte superior con la falda, tratando que el empate nos quede en la parte posterior del vestido.
The next step is to cut the skirt. To do this, I measure approximately 21 cm in length for a baby aged 0 to 3 months, then I hem it and close both ends with a straight stitch and zigzag stitch. Then I place or find the right sides of the main fabrics together and pin them so that I can sew and join both pieces, the top with the skirt, trying to make sure that the seam is at the back of the dress.
Ya finalmente nos quedaría coser el cuello y para ello voy a cortar una tira con la tela de rib tomando como referencia la medida del escote menos 3 cm, lo cosemos por los extremos para unir luego por el borde estirando cosemos con zig zag y terminaríamos uniendo la pieza del cuello con el escote dividiendo en 4 partes, estirando y que así nos quede con una costura uniforme, luego por el derecho de la tela muy pegado a la tira del cuello haremos otra costura recta para darle un bonito acabado.
Finally, we need to sew the neckline. To do this, I'm going to cut a strip from the ribbing fabric, using the neckline measurement minus 3 cm as a reference. We sew the ends together and then join the edges, stretching as we sew with a zigzag stitch. We finish by joining the neckline piece to the neckline, dividing it into 4 parts and stretching so that we have an even seam. Then, on the right side of the fabric, very close to the neckline strip, we will make another straight seam to give it a nice finish.
