Today I made a Lily of the Valley keychain, and I’m sharing its tutorial with all of you. I hope you will like it.
Materials Needed
To make it, we need two colors of yarn one green and the other color of your choice. I used white. And also we need 3.0mm hook.
Making the Stem
First, take the green yarn, and make 55 chains. After making the chains, keep them aside and start making the leaf.
Making the Leaf – First Side
To make the leaf, I made 16 chains, then on the 15th chain, I did one single stitch.
Then in the next chain, I did one half double crochet,
then in the next 3 chains, I did 3 double crochets,
then again one half double crochet, then one single stitch, then one slip stitch, and again one single stitch.
After that, again do one half double crochet, and in the next 3 chains, do 3 double crochets,
then one half double crochet, and in the last chain, do 3 single stitches in one chain.
In this way, one side of our leaf is ready.
Making the Leaf – Second Side
Now it’s time for the other side.
On the other side, in the first chain, do one half double crochet,
then in the next 3 stitches, do 3 double crochets,
then again one half double crochet, then one single stitch, then one slip stitch, then again one single stitch,
then one half double crochet,
then in the next 3 stitches, do 3 double crochets,
then again one half double crochet,
then in the last stitch, do 2 single stitches,
and with the help of slip stitch, join both sides.
Now our leaf is also ready.
Making the Flower
Now it’s time to make the flower.
To make it, first I made a magic ring and did 5 single stitches in it.
Then I closed the ring and made 2 chains.
Then I did double crochet in every stitch that means first make 1 chain, then double crochet in each stitch, but in the first one make 2 chains.
After finishing all stitches, I joined it from the other side with a slip stitch.
Now there should be 5 holes in this design.
Creating Flower Petals
Now I took white color yarn, made 3 chains, marked the 3rd chain, and made one more chain.
Now in every hole, we have to make 1 bobble stitch.
To make it, we take the yarn six times, and after making 5 bobble stitches, we join it with the marked chain using a slip stitch.
Finishing the Flower
Between each petal of this flower, I did one single stitch, one double crochet, one double crochet, and one single stitch,
then joined it from the other side.
Now our flower is also ready.
Joining All Parts Together
Now we join the leaf to the stem, and make one more flower because we need two flowers.
After that, join the flowers to the stem as well.
In this way, our cute keychain is ready.
We can hang it on our bag or use it as a keychain.
