Today I am sharing with you my crochet daisy bag tutorial.
It took me 2 days to make this. And I really liked its final result.
Materials Needed
To make this bag, you will need 2 colors of yarn.
I chose white and pink. I wanted to use white and yellow, but I didn’t have yellow yarn, so I used pink and white.
Then I took a 2.5 mm hook. You can also use 2.0 mm.
Making the Border
First, I made its border.
To make it, I made 102 chains, then joined it and made double crochet (dc) on this 102 chain.
In the 3rd row also, make double crochet (dc) in all stitches.
In the 4th row, I made 32 half double crochet (hdc), then made 38 chains, skipped 38 stitches, and again made 32 half double crochet (hdc).
Now in the 5th and 6th rows, again make double crochet (dc) on all stitches.
Now our border is ready.
Creating the Flower Center
Now it’s time to make the flower.
First, I made a magic ring. Then I made 12 double crochet (dc) in this magic ring.
Now in the 2nd row, make 2 double crochet (2dc) in every stitch total becomes 24 stitches.
Now in the 3rd row, make one double crochet (dc) in one stitch and 2 double crochet (2dc) in the next stitch.
In the 4th row, make double crochet (dc) in two stitches and in the 3rd stitch make 2 double crochet (2dc).
In the 5th row, make double crochet (dc) in three stitches and in the 4th stitch make 2 double crochet (2dc).
In this way, the flower center is ready. Now it’s time to make petals.
Building the Flower Petals
Now in the 5th row, make (dc, dc, dc, 2dc, and front post double crochet (fpdc)).
Do this same pattern in the whole row.
Now in the 6th row, make (fpdc, dc, 2dc, dc, dc).
In the 7th row, make (fpdc, dc, dc, dc, dc), then one dc will be left skip it and again repeat the same formula.
Now our flower is completely ready.
We have to make 2 flowers like this.
Joining the Flowers
Now I joined both flowers with double crochet (dc), and where there was front post double crochet (fpdc), I also did fpdc.
After joining both side flowers, I attached a zip on the bag.
And our bag is ready.
Making the Bag Chain
Now it’s time to make the bag chain.
Making the chain is easy just make 20 chains, then join head to tail, and repeat this until the chain becomes the size you want.
I made 6 pink chains and 6 white chains.
Then I joined them to the bag with the help of a needle.
Tadaa! The bag is ready.
Final Touch & Result
I made this bag for my brother’s daughter. She liked it very much. I became very happy after seeing her, all my tiredness went away.
