Case for my headphones in Tapestry technique. (En/Es)

Greetings dear creative friends of @NeedleWorkMonday, I hope you had a very productive week in every aspect of your life, this week I was able to finish my first project in the Tapestry technique.

Saludos queridos amigos creativos de @NeedleWorkMonday, espero hayan tenido una semana muy productiva encada unos de los aspectos de sus vidas, esta semana pude terminar mi primero proyecto en la técnica Tapestry.

Some time ago I stumbled upon this technique by chance in one of the Pinterest notifications, which arrive daily to my cell phone and since then I've been digging to learn how to master this one and so I did, about 3 weeks ago I posted how my first steps went in this technique.

Hace un tiempo me encontré por casualidad con esta técnica en unas de las notificaciones de Pinterest, que diariamente llegan a mi celular y desde entonces he estado indagando para aprender a dominar esta y así lo hice, hace aproximadamente 3 semanas publiqué como fueron mis primeros pasos en esta técnica.

And although I had many ideas on the use I would give to this project at the end I remembered that I needed a cover for my headphones, which are a gift from my son because by carrying them loose or in some bags I have damaged in previous situations the headphones. So as I shared on the blog I made my own diagram to begin my work.

Y aunque tuve muchas ideas en el uso que le daría a este proyecto al final recordé que necesitaba una funda para mis auriculares, los cuales son un regalo de mi hijo pues por cargarlos sueltos o en algunas bolsas he dañado en anteriores situaciones los auriculares. Así que tal como compartí en el blog hice mi propio diagrama para comenzar mi labor.

Although I tried to follow the diagram as much as possible, one of the many days I was away from home I didn't remember that I had taken out the bag and I only had the yarns that corresponded to the loops I was knitting, but as the waiting time became long I decided to knit a few loops in red wine color, so as not to let the waiting time make me desperate.

Aunque trate de seguir el diagrama al máximo posible, un día de los tantos que estaba fuera de casa no recordé que había sacado la cartuchera del bolso y solo contaba con los hilos que correspondían a las vueltas que estaba tejiendo, más como el tiempo de espera se hizo largo decidí tejer unas cuantas vueltas en color vino tinto, para así no dejar que la espera me desesperara.

Something that characterizes me and I do not know if it is a quality or a challenge, because when something catches my attention I stop what I am doing and start practicing what has captivated my attention, it is for this reason that sometimes I fill myself with unfinished projects. Then with the passage of time I return to finish those projects.

Algo que me caracteriza y no sé si es un cualidad o un desafío, pues cuando algo me llama la atención dejo de hacer lo que esté haciendo y comienzo a practicar lo que ha cautivo mi atención, es por esta razón que algunas veces me lleno de proyectos sin terminar. Luego con el paso del tiempo regreso a terminar esos proyectos.

That's how after two weeks I resumed knitting in Tapestry and finally managed to finish the knitting, to finish the case I knitted a loop in low stitches and chain stitch loops, then knit an adjustable cord and leave an eyelet to hang them when not in use, as I said at the beginning was a case for my glasses, but as the closed knitting was causing pain in my wrists, I decided to leave the project shorter and use the case to carry and store my headphones and thus to finish this practice project.

Fue así como después de dos semanas retomé el tejido en Tapestry y por fin logré culminar el tejido, para finalizar la funda le tejí una vueltas en puntos bajos y bucles de cadenetas, para luego tejer un cordón ajustable y dejarle un ojal para guindarlos cuando no lo tenga en uso, como les dije al principio era una funda par mis lentes, más como el tejido cerrado me estaba causando dolor en mis muñecas, decidí dejar el proyecto más corto y usar la funda llevar y guardar mis auriculares y así dar por terminado este proyecto de práctica.

I feel that creativity is like a flash of light that when it comes you take advantage of it and something beautiful emerges, more so when you let it pass like water that spills and after it falls you can't pick it up, that's why even though I fill myself with unfinished projects, I take advantage of those flashes of light that come into my life.

Siento que la creatividad es como un destello de luz que cuando viene la aprovechas y surge algo hermoso, más cuando la dejas pasar como el agua que se derrama que después de caída no la puedes recoger, es por eso que aunque me llene de proyectos sin finalizar, aprovecho esos destellos de luz que llegan a mi vida.
